OMG Lori!! NO! I'm so sorry.
I came here to post about how I found my sweet little cat, dead in a box in my front yard this morning, and I see this sad news. I don't know how much more sadness I can take. Hug your loved ones and tell them how much you love them every day. you never know when they will be taken from you.

Oh Vicki, so sorry to hear about your kitty. I hope you are doing well. This has been a rough winter and into spring for several of us. Hopefully as the sun warms up the outlook will start shining through.
So sad to hear of Lori's loss. Bill is at rest now. They fought the good fight and now is the time for rest and reflection.

still suffering from insomnia.
cant remember if i said this alredy yet or not, child broke the hdmi port in laptop on friday or saturday, so cant use laptop from the couch across the room on the big tv anymore. trying to find new laptop to upgrade to that will play the games me and girlfriend want while we are at hospital after childs surgery.
bought some new headsets at Meijer that were on sale. i goofed and bought a horrible brand while i got girlfriend a wonderful set. hers has a plug in one ear to "share" the connection. so we are hooking laptop up to extra computer monitor, plugging her headset into laptop, plugging my headset into hers and watching our tv shows at night.
child found laptop yesterday and dropped it. breaking the screen in about 4 ways. laptop is almost on its last legs. im trying to set up daily backups so i wont loose anything we recently put on it. i have several months old backups.
have an appointment in 2 hours that i cant miss but starting to finally get tired. grr.

Sorry about your furbaby QV. 
I had it painted, two tone light brown-tan and creamy moldings in a Banana cream, the accent color is still undecided, maybe greens or blues.
THe floor is gorgeous, like a travertine marble, tans, golds, creams
I had a door installed for the dogs to go in and out, and a new AC unit,
still need art work pillows and curtains to finish, but not up to going out for them. I don't trust anyone to get these for me, so it has to wait till I can get out again
Roommate is being typical PITA he made an appointment with the specialist and promptly had me cancel the day before, He is most likely terrified, I couldn't get him to change his mind. Yes, I am pretty certain he should have some kind of surgery based on the two specialist he was supposed to go see.

I am sorry about you kitty, I know that you have had just about enough of all the sad things, Hang in there and feel the strength of love, support and friendship that all of have for you!
I will continue to pray for strength for you to deal with these struggles.

Hello All, I started vaping 3 months ago and am new to ECF!
I'm down to 4 cigarettes a day, but was chain smoking when drinking alcohol. I am working on that by upping my nic level and using more tobacco flavored juices while drinking.
So far, much better, but still smoking.

Welcome to the thread rangerrobin. Good to see you here. Sounds like you made a plan and have taken some steps to work on reducing your smoking. Vaping is a funny thing, it starts off with a lot of trial and error and then it grows on you. Like anything new, it takes a little time. 4 cigarettes a day sounds like a great accomplishment from chain smoking. I was a 2 pack a day smoker for 46 years so you should be pleased with your success. Do not be surprised if you develop a dislike of the taste of your cigarettes sooner than you think.
What are you using for equipment and have you found any juices that you can vape for an extended period of time? These two factors make a big difference on how your journey goes.
If you do not see a lot of posts for a few days a couple of us have had life intervene so some may be not posting much. It does not mean that we are not reading and paying attention.

Hi, rangerrobin. Welcome to our thread. It sounds like you're doing a great job so far. You may give up the smokes altogether soon or you might continue to smoke a few each day. Whatever works for you, it's all good. Many if not most of our members still struggle with giving up cigarettes completely, but we don't judge. We've all been there or still are there.
I was a 3+ PAD smoker for over 42 years and it took 3 different attempts over the course of 4 years and the wonderful members of this thread to finally get to where I am now. If quitting is your goal, we'll do our best to help and encourage you. If not, you're still welcome here anytime.

Just an update for you Shari, I've had a lot of crazy stuff going on here, and planned to get the card today - just plain forgot. I will have it in the mail on Friday.
Welcome to the thread! Wow 4 cigarettes is awesome! I had a bump over the last week was sick and nothing tasted good, so I was just smoking, now back to gettin on my vaping schedule again!
