Hmmmm Is the rubber going to be clear or diffused to allow the light from the LED to be visible? This is a 65 or 78mm battery i believe. Correct?

that's a secret for now and yes that is a small batt...they are not made for the X2...it would be too big and not serve the correct purpose.

But....but there is no other way, maybe except if you have a clear plastic ring around the black (if it's black).
You can put big light (diffusers) cones on the X2's so you can signal airplanes...

The thing that stopped me from using a pencil eraser, the slip-on kind, was covering the air holes. Glad that's solved.

I'm so behind the times, I had to look up what a stylus was. I'm thinking that will never play a vinyl record.

...So I had to look it up - it's for touch screens.

Maybe a X2 1300 battery with integrated mobile phone vibration motor, it could alert you if it goes off on your pocket or alerts you when the battery is running low by vibrating.
But i'm sure you will find other uses too
