Sitting down, facing forward.
OK my panel is rated 5V 130mA.
Let's say you want to charge a battery and you need 4.2V and 130mA, who cares?
I'm not using the solar to charge the 78mm battery but i'm using it to charge the PCC battery instead, it will keep it fully charged at full times.
There is another problem, since the pcc is not lighted directly at all times the panel has a lower output voltage on low lighting conditions, i used a buck boost converter and when the light is low i still get 5V out with a lower amperage off course.
5V is convenient because i'm feeding the usb input on the pcc's internal buck converter which is controlled by a PIC microcontroller. I'm avoiding charging the pcc's battery directly because that will confuse the microcontroller (the battery measurement).
It's a loss of some energy at low lighting conditions but it works. When it's fully sunny it works OK.

I'm surprised at the output of the solar panel for such a small size. It does make me wonder how cost effective it really is, panel versus conventional charging costs. I guess things have come a little further than I thought, although without enough sunlight, you're still out of business. It's been cloudy here for the last two days, so by now I'd be out of batteries, LOL.

I just received my 1300 X2 in raspberry. The color is gorgeous. But you don't make a clearo to match! Are there any plans for clearos to match all the colors of the X2?

I would love to see some cartomizers in colors, too.

SI has a wide variety of cartomizer skins so that folks can "colorize" their cartos.

Hey, Bukket--The purple clearo is an almost exact match to the raspberry.

How about a really nice atomizer designed for dripping? :)

Also, I think you and every vendor should look into making eliquid that is flavored with food. I recently found a local shop that makes all their liquids with food, therefore making it a food product, and has an FDA certified-safe food product. After using their liquid, none of the "artificially flavored" liquids seem to be as good to me. It would also help with any regulation crack downs that might be attempted in the future (sadly if the feds go at the nicotine, then that won't help at all though).

Although there is a thread for political issues/action, I just had to reply. I would think the bigger threat at this time is big tobacco (aka Blu, "available at Sheetz"), via their lobbyists, trying to eliminate the competition, DIY's, and vendors of competing products.:(

I think that would be a great idea.

I'd like to see a cigar tube type case, just something sleek, pocketable, but hard and protective for the X2 batteries + clearo. I'm currently using a cigar tube around 42 or 44 guage, and roughly 7 inches long with a bit of cotton stuffed inside. Works perfectly with my 900 mAh X2 and CE carto. Sadly the cheap aluminum isn't going to last too long.
