Loaded up with some 50/50 Serendipity from HHV.

Am I the only one that only needs exactly 1 turn of the juice control? Just one turn with all my juices and everything continues to work wonderfully.

I've had this same wick in for a week too. Probably only like 4 tanks as this has been in rotation though. But the coil and wick look great still.

My wife stole my km3 again. I packed to go out of town. I'll be gone for a month or 2. I drove 5 hours to the hotel. I was using a reo/stumpy and a Radius with a Squape RS for the trip. When I got to my room and unpacked, I was looking forward to using the km3 for a while. There it was....right there in my box. A picture of my lovely and talented wife holding a Radius with the km3. What's worse was the evil smile....Why do I continue to underestimate this woman?
LOL!

Without question.... But still, my km3??? She's a keeper alright. A heartless, evil keeper.
Sounds like you need to order yourself a second! Then send her a photo of it and say thanks for the KM3!!

That looks great! I'm at 2 turns with 50/50. Tried it with one and didn't get a burnt hit, just was a little "off".

You must have read my mind, I've had serendipity steeping for two weeks, it's going in today!

Been wanting to try net.com but can't get a handle on what they're like. Not looking for the bluegrass burley/devil dog types, want something along the lines of... vita bella, patriot, serendipity, dragons fire, huntsman. Anyone of you guys have any suggestions?

Is there really a taste difference because of how many turns open the V3 is? I use 50/50 and I've had the JC open one turn and two turns and I see no difference in taste. I can see for thicker juice more than one turn may be necessary to avoid a dry hit.

Dryness of hits is what I was experiencing... I think?!?

Plus, 2 1/2 is pretty!!! No Ugly Threading!

I want to tell everyone about my battle with the K4 plastic airflow screw....got them in today, took out the original airflow screw, started screwing in the plastic one in, seemed tight, but I figured it was suppose to be?
Well, now I am at the point where the plastic screw won't go any further in, or out...It was STUCK

Took the mini all apart hoping there was some way I could get the screw out, no way was that going to happen, so the only thing I could think of doing was drilling it out....so drilled it out with a smaller bit than the actual hole, went as far in as I could go with the drill bit, and I know there's still a little piece of it in there. took it all apart again and gave it a good cleaning. threaded the original airflow screw, and
finally, it worked like a charm !

So I thought of sharing this in hopes that no one else would have to go thru what I just went thru
But then again, maybe my plastic screws were just a little too big, I have no Idea, certainly didn't want to try another one to see.

So maybe K4 plastic airflow screws aren't meant for the KFM Maybe someone could be so kind as to comment on this ?

I've heard that they are compatible?

How do they look, side by side?

And, where did you get them from?

Thanks, Jim

Good info and could save others from a major headache. What is the saying? "Leave well enough alone"?

After all I went thru, yea I should have, but I like a tighter draw but it just kept gurgling
thought the plastic screw would fix that.....live and learn, but atleast its the draw I like now
without the gurgling, so all is well

Sorry to hear about your troubles, Rhody.
Just installed one of these today, too.
I noticed quite some resistance when screwing it in and its front looked a little torn when I took it out. But I got it in, out and back in again without a problem. (and I thought being more snug was a "feature" of the plastic screw, isn't it?)

I think even Svoemesto sells them as compatible for K4 and KM3 or was I just lucky?

Thats what I thought too Woita. My biggest problem was I just kept screwing it in when I should have just
stopped. So it was really my mistake. I really love my KM3, and to have to put a drill to it to get that
plastic screw where I could put it all back together again was something I never want to have to do again

So I'm really glad yours fit Woita
