Awesome! And love the old mesh builds as well. No matter what rta I have had, after the genny thing, I have always tried a mesh build in them, and once I get the new mini, there will be no exception. In fact I'm vaping a mesh build as we speak, in what I think is the most compatable mesh rta's I have ever owned, the Gem. Thanks for the info.
Stanley, I was going to ask you about the founders reserve, because I have heard good things but just did a search and seen that 10mg nic is the highest[emoji20]. Oh well.... for some reason, it seems like these aged reserve, high end juices only happen in low nic amounts, total bummerSomeone asked, but darn if I can find it now... Haha.
This is 4 tanks of Founder's reserve (Johnson Creek), and one tank of Serendipity By HHV.
Not perfect... But I personally just refilled.. Haha. Tastes just fine to me still. Despite some gunk on the coil.

What grade of mesh are you using in the Gem? 400 or 500
I usually vape 12mg. So the 10 is close. I also did the math on it and (lol) I forget it now and don't feel like thinking.... I /last purchase I got, all they had was 6mg. I still bought 6 bottles, and plan to mix each with I think it was 2ml of 100mg/ml 50/50 nic base from naked nicotine. I already have 40) ml of that base in my freezer in case the gov't decides to flex their muscles... Haha. Probably a waste of $80, but could prove worth it!
You know I'm not sure tbh. I don't actually have much mesh left, (say that 5x really fast) because I gave most of it away since kind of moving away from genesis atomizers but I kept my 2 favorites, 4 and 5. When the 500 came out I really liked it and used it the most. Last year I made a few wicks, so I haven't made any in a while and believed it was the 500.
That's right I remember you saying something like that maybe in a previous post. Last year I was also thinking of buying a huge bottle of nic incase they banned sales or something, but never did, good idea though

Any difference with airflow closed a bit? Or juice flow more open or closed? Besides that, the only time I get a noticeable difference is with to much cotton, either in coil or packed too tightly in lower deck.Lacking of flavour with mine, air full open. I've tried 26g wire ø2.5mm 8 wraps, 27g 7 wraps and SS304 9 wraps. I've used various wattage and changed height of the coils too.
Wicks have been saturated.
Any tips?
All I got to say is that once you get it solid it's a freaking wonderful vape but it will take some fiddling. I found you need to go as big a diameter as possible, I also use to tiny tiny bit of cotton as well on the very end of the mesh wick, right at the juice hole
I agree that the higher the wattage in an rta , one needs to pack a little more into the coil but there's that point that it just doesn't allow enough to the coil. Sometimes if you add a little to much, it maybe ok for the coil itself but maybe to much for the tails. If your tails are to long and a bit dense, that also can inhibit juice flow, so sometimes just reducing the tails a little can helpHmm, I'll try with less cotton in coil. I am used to put quite a bit in there to prevent coil heating too much when sub ohming with other RTAs. Thanks!
Sounds good, how much cotton do you put on the ends? Do you have any pics? I just have to find my mesh now.
