I agree that the higher the wattage in an rta , one needs to pack a little more into the coil but there's that point that it just doesn't allow enough to the coil. Sometimes if you add a little to much, it maybe ok for the coil itself but maybe to much for the tails. If your tails are to long and a bit dense, that also can inhibit juice flow, so sometimes just reducing the tails a little can help

Awesome............ there are a bunch of tiny things that can cause flavor loss and it can take a while to figure them out, but imo , along with maybe an extremely high coil placement, and way to much power, cotton density in the coil is the number one reason.Rewicked it and there's nice improvement in flavor! There was too much cotton inside coil. Wondering why I didn't realize that.
I trimmed tails earlier too, so that wasn't problem. Thank you again![]()
I think I need one, lol!!! Thanks for helping
It's here! Well i placed the order on friday and just got the mini today, not bad shipping there. Haven't even cleaned her yet (is it a her? Or him?) But tried out the airflow real quick. Turning the airflow screw and suckling [emoji12] from all the way tight, to all the way almost out, I couldn't really feel a difference. Either way, whatever I felt seemed just right

Oh yes, siesta bch is nice, I do most of my work there, it's about 20 minutes from meCongrats. Just noticed you live in Sarasota! Was at Siesta Key Beach on Saturday, which is still one of the most beautiful beaches in the world!
And just noticed your in tampa, I wish I can say I was just there at Burns steak house, but I haven't had the pleasure yetCongrats. Just noticed you live in Sarasota! Was at Siesta Key Beach on Saturday, which is still one of the most beautiful beaches in the world!

Now your talking, I like long boat and St Armands area alot betterWe try to come down and stay at Longboat Key club for a long weekend a couple times a year. So close to Tampa, but feels so far away! Love dining at Shore in St. Armands Circle.

We have been to euphemia's a couple times and have always had a great experience and although it's a little dated the dessert bar is pretty awesome. Over rated, I felt the same about the capital grill here in sarasota, not bad but not mind blowingTo me, Berns is over rated. The wine cellar is a sight to behold though. And if you choose fish (who goes to one of the supposed top 10 steak houses in the US to have fish?) you can go in the kitchen and pick it out of a live tank. The desert room is upstairs and is very Euphemia Haye (if you've dined there, you'll know).

Oh yes, when I tightened all the way closed it never closed the draw completely off at all. I didn't try really tight yethad the same "issue" when I got mine. Not really a noticeable difference.
Then I was told that it would close all the way (no air at all) so I went for it again and had to screw really hard (harder than I felt comfortable with such a tiny screw) to get it in all the way. The threading seems to be a bit off where the air holes are. It even moved the positive block and made contact with the negative frame on the build deck (like busardo experienced) and shorted my build.
Told Svoemesto customer service about that experience as a FYI, but they never replied.
Good to know........porterhouse MR pleaseCapital Grill is just OK to me as well. If you want a great steak experience in Tampa, Charlie's Steak house has it over Berns.
Ok I got it now, and it works good. I guess it was a little stuck at first but after tighten it lower, it's moving freely now and completely closes off... thankshad the same "issue" when I got mine. Not really a noticeable difference.
