howd you do that?

I patched the eVic VTC Mini Firmware and inserted the Logo in exchange of the word "POWER". This means once you are in the Power mode the Logo is displayed instead of the word "Power".
The downside of this hack is, that it overwrites the display and it does not show the Wattage settings any more in "Power" mode"

If you like it, I published it on my server: http://maps4me.net/tools/eVic_V3.01_Svoemesto.bin.zip
Download it, extract the archive and use the Joytech Firmware updater Software to upload this file to your eVic VTC Mini

Just ordered a Black Flowring from Captivape. I just ordered the stock size of 22 --> 20. Only $15 shipped. :)

I didn't see the custom option available anywhere? Might have missed it. But this one will be close enough. Might even glow better with essentially two step downs from my P3's 22.7mm connection.

That is cool. I'm still new at this so perhaps this is a dumb question. How do you know when to fill that tank and can you see well enough, when it's open, to not overfill? Thank you.
In a tank like this, you can see the juice level when filling, so it's not really an issue, but in the older types like the kfl, where there was bottom filling, it was a bit harder. As for knowing when to refill, it takes a bit of time to know the taste of when it's getting dry. I always wondered if you had a scale that could measure the weight to know?

Good point on the scale. Would have to be pretty accurate.

thats how i check my all steel kfls , around 88g dry+wet wick for v1 and around 87g for v2.[favouring a nano setup with plastic mid section at the mo, sweeeet with the dicodes extreme v2+ 18350 mod]
I enjoy the glass on the mini.
love the plain look of the all steel kfl, not at all keen on the diamond 'knurl' style of the steel sections on the later tanks.

With the new steel tank (4,2ml) you cannot see how much liquid is left. But fortunately the Kayfun Mini V3 works perfectly with temperature control. So if the vape decreases, check your battery or refill. No dry hits, no bad taste.

:thumb: I'm testing mine with SS in TC, so far so good... just waiting for my 3.6 ml tank to get here, hopefully Monday, then we'll know if this TC mode really works.

That's pretty neat. So by weight, you know pretty much how much liquid is in your tank? I know I have seen those scales where it can detect a difference in like 2 drops of juice

I guess your right about not seeing the juice in the new tank, I thought for a moment you could see it thru the all the fill holes. Although you may not see it, you can probably use the dip stick method. I bet if you used a tooth pick you might be able to judge.

works a treat.
I have a set of pocket scales that measure in 0.1g increments , useful for weighing out flavour concentrates for diy too. cost around $50 ish.

This is the single best selling point that I have heard or seen since I first heard about temp control.

I never had that big of an interest in diy juices, but I seen a video lately where the guy used a scale instead of a syringe and thought it seemed much easier, I now think I might delve.
