works a treat.
I have a set of pocket scales that measure in 0.1g increments , useful for weighing out flavour concentrates for diy too. cost around $50 ish.

I never had that big of an interest in diy juices, but I seen a video lately where the guy used a scale instead of a syringe and thought it seemed much easier, I now think I might delve.

Scott, the guy, is very good at it.

Cool.
Being a nurse, I have no problem with syringes or using them...
But the scale method?

Very cool.

Less fuss, muss, supplies and clean up.

I will have to check out scott's version as well because I have always enjoyed his video's but I guess it was someone else that I seen before.
Nav, the other guy, might be that someone else. His two DIY videos are all we'd need to start up our own.

I ordered the Mini V3 finally :) The hard part for me was finding a device it was gonna fit flush and not over hang on. I am about to pull the trigger on a Provari 2.5 but the dilemma is Satin or Stainless o_O For those that have the V3 already do you think it will match better with a polished stainless or satin?

I will give 2 months to K5, otherwise I will get the mini and also dust off my provari 2.5. I need to get a tube extender for 18650 though.
18650 P'vari 2.5 is a police baton :)

I have the extender but could never use it.

Got SXmini M class.

26g 304SS 8 wraps around 2.5mm, 0.45ohms.

TC seems to work pretty nicely with V3 as long as you don't chain vape.
Maybe I should try another setup or rewick.

Anyone using SS with temp control?
I've been testing mine with SS in TC for a few days now, in preparation for this :)

It worked great the first couple days, but it seems like it's starts acting up a little when the coil gets some gunk build-up... need to play around with it some more.

Tried tc once but and found no difference at all in the vape. I heard that it's a more consistent vape and no dry hits but I get that 99.99 percent of the time without tc . I can see tc in a dripper or a sub ohm tank , but in an flavor chasing rta where your not vaping extremely high wattages, i don't . I'm not saying tc doesn't have its place, I think it does, and I think it's helped in the right application. I personally don't use SOT'S or drippers, so I see no benefit. Now I do understand tinkering, I have tinkered plenty in builds that were of no real benefit , just because I like to play with builds, so in a way I can understand if you have a tc mod and wire and just like to tinker but I doubt you will get a better vape in these types of rtas.

I completely agree vapdivrr, no difference in vape. However there's one more reason to use TC (and that's my main reason):
I'm a forgetful human being and while working (developing software) I kept sucking my tanks dry, forgot about it, sucked again, realized it was empty, forgot about it again, and sucked again...
So I had lots of burnt hits in pre TC days. Not because I couldn't wick, just because I'm too stupid to stop and refill when needed.
No more with TC. Now, when finally after x repetitions of the above pattern I realize that I really have to refill, I don't have to rewick :)

But now to something completely different:
My KM3 is pretty sad atm.
IMG_3516.JPG IMG_3515.JPG

It slid out of my shirt pocket, crashed against a wall and hit the floor hard when I had a little "leaky-fishtank emergency" and bent over too fast last week.
No, the glass did not break. The mod survived as well.
It worked right after the incident, however the resistance was off. When I finally had time to have a look at it, I noticed that the positive screw was loose and I retightened it, resistance was spot on again.
It continued to work (brilliantly, without noticable difference in vape) for three more days. Then I decided to have a look at the coil and noticed that one wrap was "off" and that the insulator under the positive block was shattered a bit and then I noticed that the positive block was "off" too - a little recessed towards the housing.
IMG_3511.JPG

And then I realized - the center-pin was bent! Obviously the lateral force when hitting the wall "pulled out" the center-pin a bit, thus crumbling the insulator, and the force of the impact deformed the pin!

I took it out which was pretty painful since the pin was not straight any more and while screwing it back in, it tore apart :(

IMG_3513.JPG

So I contacted Svoemesto and they told me they would add a "centerpin" to my cart in their system.
They did just so this morning and now I'm waiting for a new c-post. Hopefully that thing is here tomorrow. Lucky me that Svoemesto is located in Germany as well :)

They told me btw that the insulators are those from the KFL, so I could just order these:
Kayfun 3.1/Lite plus Isolatoren - 5er Pack - Kayfun Lite plus & Zubehör - Verdampfer
Kayfun Lite Isolatoren Set - Kayfun Lite plus & Zubehör - Verdampfer

On a side note: My HHV order is shipped and hit USPS' Miami ISC on Saturday - why they would not ship it out of KATL is beyond me :(
Never had anything stuck in MIA, but have heard a lot of bad things about Miami ISC (and it hasn't moved since Sat...)
