I'm back to my EHPro Kayfun 3.1 after a lengthy stint with the Kayfun 4. I got tired of the fiddling and all the parts that had to be disassembled and reassembled. I have 3 KF 4's. One is in parts in a zip lock. The second is intact and working. The third is still new in the box. Kayfun 3 is just easy and the extra flavor from the KF 4 wasn't worth the hassle.

I'm looking for the ultimate RTA that produces really good flavor and is easy to field strip and assemble. I'm more of a single coil guy who moved to winding my own coils after all the one day failures with factory made atomizer coils a couple of years ago.

Has anyone found the ultimate RTA? That would be great flavor and a fairly easy recoil like the KF3, but without the hassle of draining the juice to recoil.
I have seen many good reviews on this tank. I'm thinking of getting it with the rba.

I just pulled the trigger on a Lemo 2 from MyVaporStore. I keep hearing how leak free it is and that it has better flavor than the Kayfuns. We'll see. I also like the top fill feature and the easy juice flow close feature on the coil deck.
Lemo2 is good. I actually like my STM's better though.

I have been using a Lemo 2 for about 2 months now. The Lemo 2 was my replacement atty for an authentic Kayfun Lite-Plus V2 that I lost while visiting in the Philippines.

The Lemo 2 is really a nice piece, but is better suited for high airflow / lung hits. I say that because it has a very large diameter chimney and chimney cap along with an extra large adjustable airflow section. The 510 drip tip is also very large.

However, the adjustable airflow can be set to any airflow that would even satisfy a mouth to lung vaper, and you can change the drip tip to something else, but as I said, this atty is really made for big hits.

The only slight problem I have had with the Lemo 2 is that it will seep juice out of the bottom of the base section over time. The photo below has arrows pointing to where this is happing. I have tried every possible cotton wick configuration there is, but it still gets a slight seepage from the bottom.

I still like the Lemo 2 (and use it all the time), but it does have what I think is a couple of things I am not real happy with.

BTW ... Flavor from this atty is good.

Total off-topic, kind of chat a-la Facebook........ happens :-\

Your right, my post about the Lemo 2 was completely off-topic, but if you think about it ... how can anyone make a post here about the so-called Kayfun 5 that don't even exist.

I was just trying to give another person some info about the Lemo 2 that he had mentioned about in this thread.

The Kayfun Lite remains the easiest and most flavorful RTA in my arsenal.

They'll bury me with my Kayfuns, I continue to try others and always end up with a KFL+ back in hand...they were always great with cotton builds, rayon took them to another level of fantastic.

I have a completely off-topic question since it has nothing at all to do with the Kayfun 5 ....

For you folks that have both a Kayfun Lite-Plus V2 and the Kayfun V4 .... which Kayfun do you believe gives the best overall vape for a mouth to lung vaper who uses a fairly restrictive airflow?

How about overall leaking ... Which Kayfun seems to be the least problematic as far as occasional leaking from the atty is concerned?
___________________________

I will say that my authentic Kayfun Lite-Plus V2 I used to have had a slight problem with gurgling every once in awhile (no matter how it was wicked), and would also leak on occasion. I guess you could say that it was a little 'temperamental', but it was still a dream to vape.

Thanks,

Thanks,
I own both (authentic) and I feel like the Lite is the better device.
I like my 4, but the Lite just fits better into my style.
The leaking and gurgling is caused by atmospheric pressure, and is something you can't get rid of.
The only was I've found I can keep my KFL's from gurgling or leaking a drop from the air hole, is to store it upside down.
Of course, you'll get a few drops out of the drip tip, but that's gravity for ya!

I say we talk about all the devices we should buy in protest of SvoëMesto not releasing or teasing about the new Kayfun yet!

I like the "off topics" :D

I've been using Gems lately and the flavor is just as good as the KF4 if not better. Top fill and rebuild without draining. Qorax has a good video on them...

FYI ....

I just put an identical single 27 gauge Kanthal 1.3 ohm coil in both my EHPro Kayfun Lite-Plus V2 clone and my Lemo 2. Both devices were powered to 13 watts, and the airflow was set on both devices to the same resistance.

Also, I used the same juice in both (60% VG / 40% PG), and both had the same Japanese cotton wicking.

Even used the same drip tip (Kayfun 4 style) on both devices.

Well, I could not tell any difference at all between the two ... none whatsoever.

Great vape on both .... That was my own un-scientific test.

Oh gawds, not the Packers! I don't need the headache of them in the Super Bowl

I'm 30 min south of GB. I do NOT want to deal with even more Packer fans: if they win, the fans are crazy. Loose, the fans border on suicidal levels of depression
As a Bears fan, I like when Packer fans are suicidal. :)
