That it was, well worth the price. Seems to be my most grabbed for mod. well, that and the stingray with an 0.2 and a magma with a 0.18 and the Tardis with Rose2. Let's just say Max is usually one of the three mods I grab when I go to work.

So you won't be selling me your's? :p

Are U talkn 2 me???? Oh, it looks like you are.

K, well first off, I had to wait a bit longer than initially projected, then I had to put up with all the wine, cheese and crackers, and now just getting Max to preform at it's max capabilities, and liking it, a lot, you can't possibly be talking to me.

When emailed, about the last delay, told them I'd be happy to take any of the ones that didn't sell. Funny thing, never got a reply back on that. Apparently I ain't the only turnup running around.:lol:

Mine has officially entered the US, and should be in my hands sometime after the weekend. Can't wait. Artisan had been stellar in terms of customer service and communication, and I am chomping at the bit to play with it. Haven't seen a lot of people review them. Did Basil Ray do a video? Can anyone link me if so?

Either way, I will report back after messing around with it.

What I love about Max is his button. Very Clicky, very definite, think it makes a small squeak, but that could be my chilla's. I shoot now for 0.4 ohms, then try and shave just a tad of it next time. It's nice to be able to regulate a build of 0.4 ohms. Need to break in a new wick, switch to Watts and tone it down to 40 or so, once build and wick are seasoned in well, Smoke on the Water Baby, switch to volts 5.5 will get ya 75. Have two outstand 0.42's on the Russian and Rose2. The beauty of it is I can push the both to 72 watts on Max, but when Max needs to charge, can throw them on a Mech and still get a decent 40 watt vape.

I look at Max as a regulated mech in the way I build, a 0.3667 ohm coil will yield the highest watt output, but a 1 ohm build will only get you a max of 30.25 watts, since max volt output is 5.5. If you are not into sub ohm vape, max won't do any better than a dna30, less if you prefer builds over one ohm. But if you like builds at 0.7-0.3 ohms, then Max fits the bill with great results. 0.7 will net 43 watts 0.3 gives ya only 64.5 watts because of the 15 amp limit, with an ideal of 0.3667 for a tad over 82.

In it's prime zone, it rocks. Consistent Mech sub ohm Zone vape, through the entire batt cycle. Great Vape. My drippers will probably never sit on Max, since they are below his threshold, but most my tanks are getting the Max build when they are due.

I usually get a full day of vape, but I do take 2 other mods with me to work. One charge will usually Vape the Russian dry, so that's like 5.5 ml of vape time, I guess. Always a bummer when the light don't shine no more, have to recharge, and he is offline.

Max isn't a mech killer, but is a Collection Contender, and nicely built, inside and out.

Oh, did I mention the button??? It's Frakking Great!!! Nicest button that yields a vape I have ever pushed. You know when you have pushed Max's button, and the results is immediate. Even with my 22 gage coils, quick heat up at 5.5 volts. Great Button.

I hav already ordered one of these, but I have a question:

Does this MOD use PWM? or is there a DC-DC converter in there?

So long as any PWM isn't too low it will be fine (my favorite MOD uses PWM - no, not a Provari). I'm just wondering if this MOD does too.

No PWM. It's a step-down.

Artisan Vaping just annouced that their devices are being upgraded from 70W max wattage to 80W and from 5.5V max voltage to 6v. All boxes from here on out will ship with these upgrades, and you can send them a current box and they will upgrade it for you.

this is good, am doing the 75 watt boogie so far on Max, and running good there, being able to get this expanded range at original spec's will be nice, like the 80 watt upper limit, and with the 6 volt ceiling that will get my 0.40's up to 90 watts. Now that's something to Vape about!!!! This is really quite the box mod, but damn, need to refill Rose, Max just drained her dry.!!!!

Thanks Blue, haven't been checking out the FB page for awhile, this does give me something to think about, for sure. lmao.

006 won't show anything above .9, if it's 1 ohm and higher, it shows like .3 first, the goes to 36, if I didn't already know the build was 1.36, could of thought it was 0.36, till I vaped it of course. Even with all the upgrades the highest Max would vape a 1.36 ohm coil is like a tad over 26 watts. But yeah, sounds like he fixed a major firmware issue. Know Max was dialed back to 5.5 because of fluctuation issues at 6 volts, plus cutting an amp off. Things just keep getting better, best liar, cheats and thieves I've ever had a pleasure of doing business with. :D:lol:

It always brings a tear to my eye when Max goes offline. But on my usb 3.0, max charges up full in 2.5 hours, and then it's MAX is ONLINE, woo hoo. hmm, another 30 minutes till max is live.

You won't be disappointed. Now that they have it optimized, looks like it's putting out the full 16 amps, so optimum build for max amps would be around 0.375 ohms, which at 6 volts gives one 96 watts, but my 0.4 ohm build can be pushed at 90 watts, well, once mine gets upgraded that is. So that's more than doubling the builds output compared to straight mech driven. Have to dip below 0.2 ohms to get that kind of action, while demanding more than 20 amps from my batts. So unless one builds at 0.7 and lower, dna would be better, but if you already build below 0.5, then Max may be of extreme interest.

My worst time of day is when Max goes offline and needs to be recharged, but do have and batt bank, and can give it a buddy charge and not run out of juice. Kind of fun, I now break a new wick and builds on a mech, then once every thing is seasoned, throw it on Max, and crank it up.!!! I keep it locked at max volts for maximum watt output. Regulated 6 volt sub ohm vaping, kind of impressive. :D Well, should say Very Impressive

!!! BUYER BEWARE - CAVEAT EMPTOR - BUYER BEWARE !!!

Those creatures at a. v. are absolutely on the top of my CUSTOMER SERVICE HALL OF SHAME list!!!

It's almost FIVE AND A HALF MONTHS since I fully paid my order in the first batch (February 13, 2014), but as of today, I've neither get my unit nor they've sent me a refund! Three weeks ago they have just informed me that they (one-sidedly!) decided not to send me a supermax, but asking me my address so they could send me a refund instead! "...Your only response should be sending me your address", said sheila in her email dated June 29, 2014...

They've shamelessly decided what my only response should be!!! Can you imagine that kind of arrogance with someone who's financing their EXPERIMENTS IN ELECTRONICS for months???

In front of such audacity, I opted for sending them my address... being left with no choice, what else could I do?

But now, they don't even answer my emails! I haven't got a device, I haven't got my money, they banned me from their FB page, they don't answer my emails anymore... And for what? For expressing my dissatisfaction when I commented on the delay in delivery of sumpermax back in May, three months after I paid my unit!!!

It was a complete waste of my time and my money!!! No, no, much more than that - it turned out to be ROBBERY in the worst sense of the word!!!

So I can't emphasize enough the MOST SERIOUS BUYER BEWARE: GET AWAY FROM THOSE BANDITS BY ANY MEANS!!!

to go with your

Personally I applaud John and Sheila for their great work and appropriate actions. I'd say the message should read vaper beware, inappropriate words and posts can be used against you, and be acted on accordingly by those that can.

Think Canada has that law where pests can be disposed of, or something like that.

Max has been nothing but a joy to vape, and have nothing but good things to say about the customer service, and quick response to all my appropriate inquiries. Am one Maxified Vaper.!! Well worth the wait.

Vape long and Prosper.!!!

I waited two months for my Microstick, I can wait two months (if need be) for the Supermax order I placed this week.

I understand being upset if you felt it was taking too long and you wanted some answers to your questions , but I can also understand a business not wanting you as a customer if you were rude to them. Canadians usually are not very receptive to people unless they are polite. I know that at my business even if someone has a legitimate complaint that I don't want them
back as a customer after it's resolved if they've been overly rude to me in the process.
