When I spent a week arguing with a PhD'd PE that a concrete slab that lay on a compacted sand bed was a slab and didn't need to be designed as a bridge, I was dismayed. Those folks were geniuses comparatively. I'm way past being surprised by stupidity now.

Kon, I thought I was the only one that did that. I've come to the conclusion, over the years, that my pinkie toes are impervious to breakage, as they never have. Broken, that is.
They probably don't use it anymore, but they did then. I remember listening to how many people were majorly pi$$ed when that song came out and they kept getting crank calls. It was funny as long as it wasn't your number.
