A very strong, exotic tobacco with a strong dry fruit flavour. Great throat hit.

I remember one time with Churchill I cut it to a very very low percentage, like 1-2%, for some reason, and it was a lot better with a much stronger th. Could have been a fluke, I'll have to find my old post to refresh my mind..

My favorite vanilla tobacco mix is hs highway @ 6% + hs vanilla @ 2% and 1% em. It's not a sweet vanilla tobacco. Just kinda nutty and smooth vanilla undertones. Really enjoy this mix. Anything more than 2% vanilla is too much.

Well I have to speak to this. Everyone says its weak and trys using 6 7 8 9%. .. While i dont have the pipe, I only use 3-4% on everything I have. Back in the beginning of this thread you'll remember 1 drop per ml was the reco . ~3.3%

We know using too much flavoring can kill a flavor.

Hangsen lists the pipe as "very strong" so that leads me to believe that using high % may be killing the flavor by using double what is needed. It probably only needs 2.5-3.33%.. Has anyone tries this?

Look here click on pipe. They make it sound like the strongest - I've read all of them..

I have not tried the pipe as everyone says its weak... But maybe its not..??

For example one member had to take g&s to 15% to get flavor, or get it back.. 6 7 10 12 15% if i remember.. While I use 3.33% (1ml/30ml) on gs and there's plenty of flavor so much I can only vape it a short time

Hangsen has the ha tobacco (Havana) and Cuba also for cigar flavors.

I tried HS Pipe at 5% and I also did not find it weak. Although it had a taste/aroma which I didn't care that much . The aroma I'm talking about is the main note one gets directly sniffing the flavor bottle.

I saw that mentioned on their page, and just assumed "marketing" since a lot of flavors are often marketed as being strong with heavy TH when the reality is often quite the opposite.

I'll mix up a batch of each tonight at the 86VG/8DW I mentioned before, I assume both with taste like the same as what I have currently mixed, only much weaker. In my mind I see that as being air/water flavor/plain VG

I was disappointed with my Hangsen Vanilla. Flavor is pretty good but it gunks my coils to quick to suit me.

Using less may help with that, you may be surprised there's still enough taste. I wonder what % was gunking too much. The more flavoring, the more gunking.

Sorry for the confusion, I thought your reply was to my last post on pg 326. Yes, I have Pipe and Elder Captain.

I have a batch of each mixed at 6% flavoring, 6mg VT VG nic, 86VG/8DW , mixed on 1-21. I will draw 2ml from each and mix in 1.84VG/0.16DW, making 3mg mix of the same solution but with 3% flavoring. I assume this will produce a juice that's half as flavorful as the current very lightly flavored 6% batches.

Or do you think I should mix new batches to test the lower % on these?

Do exactly that. Cut or add... Its the best way to test percentages. You already have the juice somewhat steeped which is good... I usually just use nic base to cut, so that it will still be at 6mg for you.

When I'm testing a new flavor that requires a long steep I mix 3 batches of 5ml at 2%, 5%, 10% flavor. Then after steeping I can test them at 2,3.5,5,6,7.5,and 10% to find my sweet spot.

#5 has a similar profile to Highway, but Highway is stronger I believe. I haven't found other Hangsen Tobacco flavors as strong as Arabic and Highway. Actually i mix all Hangsen tobaccos @ 7% but Highway and Arabic...those are good to me at 3.5% or lower.

I think the strongest flavors are those from Tobacco Express and VZ.

I didn't care about nic, only doing this to test if we're going over on the flavoring since it was mentioned and I thought these were very light. But, I found a bottle of base I mixed that same day as these juices, 90VG/10DW 6MG, so I used that and mixed 2ml with 2ml of each Pipe and Elder Captain.

My prediction is half as much flavor, which was very weak to begin with, so I bet it will be basically flavorless to me especially since this is all made with VT Nic.

I'll update after they've had a few days to mix up again.

I doubt either one of these would fit the bill for you then, unless maybe you vape high PG (like 70-80PG)

I hear you. If they aren't strong at 3.3% for me I don't want to waste my time. This stuff is on the pricy side. I like to get 10 - 30ml bottles from 10ml flavoring. I may accept 4% but that's about it for me. Highway works at 3.3 -4% for me.

For reference of what is enjoyable flavor levels for me, I find Pineapple 5%, Butterscotch 7%, and Espresso 3% all to be very flavorful, maybe even 2-3 x more flavor in those at that % than the Pipe and Elder. They could probably go even lower and still have plenty of flavor, that's just where I started with those flavors.

Anxiously awaiting the results you get with those.. Also with a little more steep time.

I get enough taste on the e- capt., last batch was 4%. Steeped well. Its not like the Arabic, but its there.

I can taste the Pipe and Elder at 6%, it's just a very light flavor to me and they are quite similar. I thought they tasted about the same at 5 days and 5 weeks, not much change at all with steeping to me, maybe a tiny bit stronger overall flavor. I will wait a few days before tasting the cut batches though, gotta let that thick VG mix around

I prefer 50/50, but these high VG are mixed for a family member, so that probably adds a little bit to my thinking of "light flavor" Other flavors I've mixed for them are strong enough for me to label as good flavor, so it's not only the high VG making me think that about the Pipe and Elder.

Sounds like the Arabic might be as strong. I may give it a try.

Edit to add: +1 on the VZ being strong. I have four flavors from their alcohol (China) line. I like them all, yet each has a little something (too much ash, too musty, etc.) that keeps them from being my favorites. But they do make excellent mixers and I might even reorder the flu cured once it runs out.

Oh its the strongest of those that ive tried .. thats why its been my adv for going on a year at around 3%.

I get a slight herb spiceiness, reminicent of the best kind buds i had before. Also hints of Indian spices in the background. Best TH, strong flavor and scent. If you spill on yourself you'll smell like India IMO.

Reminds me of Indian cuisine. It's delicious, but it makes your house smell like spices from miles away.
