Ok thinking of trying more Hangsen tobaccos. Can anyone give me a description on the Gold & Silver? Also Would like the names of the lighter(est) tobaccos without any nuts and or caramel or fruits - thank you for your time:) Sorry Exchaner I just am getting caught up on this thread lol and I can not (at least at this time) stand any percentage of AP it gags me - just got through reading that a lot of Hangsen's tobacco flavorings have it added Ugh - so please none of those if someone can even tell

Red USA and Tobacco flavor do not have any nuts - neither does RY1 (I think...)

Well i think saying ap is in most all is exaggerating a little.. Maybe some have chosen a selection of ap flavors per recommendation of ap lovers. By no means are all 50+ tobacco flavors ap based.

Gold and silver, smells like freshly open pack of smokes. Has a prune note to it, doubt any ap at all. Strong th or nose burn. Lower percentages work for me. Gets potent quick. The fruity note makes hunger pangs go into full gear for me, but I don't vape any fruits otherwise, and sweet do the same so may just go with territory.

I only get ap on desert ship and highway & ry2 are nutty. Red usa is more ashy at lower percentages.

Very light flavors that I've tried with no noticeable ap are - congress, ry1, hotel, Churchill (med. Flavor no ap), smooth....

Good info, thanks for sharing.

For me, highway does not have an ap type flavor at all, but I'd be the first to admit that I'm not sure what they're using or going for. I don't get a distinct peanut or almond but it's better than ap what ever it is.

My experience with the Ry1 as well. It's a nice, light straight ahead tobacco flavor, and seems to be the star of the 'no perfume' thread. I can't get it strong enough to suit me though because if I mix it strong and steep it, it goes into wet tobacco territory for me. I've seen where some mix it at 10 percent and love it though, so just shows different strokes for different folks I guess. :vapor:

Dixie, Deluxe and Flue Cured are both excellent smooth and slightly sweet tobaccos with no ap or unusual notes. My wife who isn't into all the tobaccos like I am has grown addicted to both of those. 5-7% is what I typically mix on all HS tobaccos but I always add .5 - 1% EM so a little extra flavor is necessary.

.......... #5 is good too but it has AP. ...........

Interesting. Have you tried Highway and if so what are your impressions of it. I haven't tried #5 but If they're going for their version of the old time 555 flavor I'm pretty sure that's supposed to be a peanut note, or at least as close as you can get to peanut with artificial flavors.

Highway has a very distinct nutty taste as does NO.5.

I needed to add some extras to my cart for my last order to get free shipping. I bought some HS french vanilla ice cream. Is this stuff good alone or is it a mixer? Typical % for mixing?

I also bought some HS virginia. I've never had that one before. I'm going to mix my standard 6% with no additives and see what it's like.

Here is a list of Hangsen tobaccos which to my taste buds contain a nutty flavor:

No 5, Highway, USA, USA Mix Lights, Black Label, Canadian, Tobacco Blend (Not Tobacco), Desert Ship, Elder Captain and Churchill.

There may be others that I haven't tried. Out of the whole list, I like Elder Captain and churchill for their moderate use of AP/other nutty flavors.

Wow Thank You all for the response. I know I am a very picky person:blink: I do already have some HS tobaccos - RY1 and RY4(was accidentally sent instead of the 1), BD,and USA mix. I tried these when I first tried to DIY lol and maybe need to revisit them now. I do know I do not care at all for any Virginia type tobacco - to me it tastes like I would think green hay would taste lol. Also I do not care for any nuts in a tobacco. And in the RY4s it is I think the Caramel that grosses me out lol. I make tobacco mixes with Vanillas so I know it isn't that:laugh: I have 26 different tobacco flavorings at this time and am going to get more not just Hangsen. The 1 thing I have learned is that all flavoring brands have a different take on all flavors - does this explain why I have not saved any money since starting to vape?? LOL:vapor:

Always wondered what the black devil was like, please post a take on it if you break it out again.

I was looking for a nice Vanilla tobacco flavor when I tried this, unfortunately I made it at wayyyyyyyy too high of a percentage for me:laugh: I was a total newb and so this time I will start with half the percentage that most like it at so I think 2% and work up:vapor:

I'm liking the Tiramisu, any fans of this? I like it between 8-10%, but it's still pretty lightly flavored at that %

For comparison, have any of you that liked it, also tried TFA's? I hear it's really strong and planned to try it next, but haven't found many reviews for it yet so unsure of how it's flavor compares

Well the Hangsen one doesn't taste like super coffee to me at all, it's soft and creamy chocolate coffee with a hint of a cake-like note hiding in the background. I do like the flavor, but it's a bit too weak, maybe I need to go higher than 10% but I'd really rather find something with more flavor at a lower percent.

I'm surprised to hear that the FA one tastes like you mention, no cream and chocolate or cake/desert aspect at all, even if you mix lower? I do have that one on my list, but didn't plan to get it until trying the TFA first. I don't want super strong coffee either, I have espresso's for that :D

Thanks Dixie1954, I will eventually but I'll probably get the TFA first. How much did you mix of the FA that was too much?

Yes, maybe you'll have to try the Hangsen one. It's very light at 5%, better at 7-8%, and seems to max around 10% for me which is still a light flavor and not nearly enough and I don't need in your face vapes. I haven't tried higher than 10, but that didn't seem much more flavored to me than 7/8 so I didn't even try more as it seemed like a waste.
