Summer is here and people are outside more and I'm assuming I'm not the only one who fingers too fat to type a post off a IPhone without having that vein on your forehead begin to pop out, IPad yes but IPhone to much frustration. Its almost 35C (95F) here and I'm none too thrilled to go bake outside, AC is much better along with vaping some Highway-TA mix....good stuff.

I need to do a more full review.
But out of CO (cohiba), Tab, & Indian. I would say I like the cohiba the most. Of the 3, 10 ml samples I made, the cohiba is the first to be gone. Nothing to usurp Arabic, desert ship, and highway from my top 3 but some nice additions.

Hangsen cohiba (CO) preliminary review.

It's a clear liquid, so should be extremely low gunking similar to ry1. I mixed it at my standard for drippers 3.33%. The flavor isn't real strong in the face, but has a good th and after burn. It's mostly a dry flavor with a hint of cigar noticed in the background and after taste. It gives the tingling you feel when you smoke a real cigar, I think that's the main part of the flavoring.

Some may say they taste nothing - At first... Well, being aquanted with hangsen I know that sometimes thier subtle flavors take a bit to notice, especially coming off a strong flavor. You have to let your taste buds relax a little. You know a cigarette doesnt have a lot of flavoring to it, mostly smoke.

I gave it a few days and by the second day it was clear that I liked it.
I like to make sure to try it the second day first in the morning, before my buds get altered too much.

My best friend's wife vapes vanilla flavors only. I have some HS french vanilla ice cream. I want to mix some for her. What is a good % for full flavor with standard kanger dual coil rigs? Do i need to add sweetner?

I'd start with 5% vanilla. I tend to start with 5% for almost all my new try's then adjust it after. Your going to have to let it steep for at least a couple weeks if not longer. I'd make a vanilla stand alone and also make a mix of 5% Hangsen tobacco like highway, desertship or No5 then add anywhere from 1% - 5% vanilla to it. I found the Hangsen tobacs tend to pop flavors out and controls the syrupy the stand alone might become. I made some syrupy cotton candy's at 3% and 5%, they were almost unvapable as stand alones.
I mix my wife's cotton candy juice 4.5% Desertship, 1.5% Signature Circus cotton candy and give it minimum 2 weeks steep. I'm not fond of vanillas but that could be a starting point for your vanilla creation.

5% is what I recomend to start testing at. Although I pretty much run 3-3.5% for every flavor but my setups are very good producers in the flavoring dept.

5 is good because its in the middle of common ranges. Try a test bottle with of 5%, with room to spare. Then you can decide if you want to go up or down. Add base to go down add flavoring to go up

Let us know how it is. I had my eye on that one. Drum is a RYO tobacco.
-Dirk

Ok, I'm loving the Drum. It's different. It does have a nice medium tobacco taste but has a light backdrop of spices. So far I'm thinking clove/cinnamon. I'm detecting a light sweet exhale. Not bad. I have never tasted this type before. I never smoked a ryo so cannot compare. I'm going to mix the rest of this 10ml flavoring bottle. BTW it is a little dry but not like Hangsen cigar flavors.
I think I need to let this sit for a month to see if the light spices shine for me. Would I buy it again? Absolutely!

The cohiba is perfect.I have been vaping the flavor on/off since available in the U.S. My absolute favorite out of the two.
I mixed both at 5%
1.8 cotton coil (nautilus)
14-16 watts.

Cool the drum sounds interesting.

The cohiba is pretty good even thought the actual flavoring isn't strong it comes across well in feel that is similar to a cigar. I think this is one some may say they taste no flavoring and its weak. But its there...

Vaping cohiba this am and I am detecting a hint of usa red ashiness in it, and that different mouth feel. Kinda moist, it may be a type of underlying salt, but the after throat is dry.
