Hello All, Jeremy gave me this link as I am just getting into the Arabic HS to mix with ECX Nic.

Thanks Jeremy,
I followed the link you gave me, and read up to here. Now I will go back to page 134 and start from there and read up so I can feel (pretty much) fully up to date on this.

Hangsens are the easiest to mix juices. Each flavor is complete.. All tobacco flavors are made with ultra clean extracted tobacco base, they make it in-house by molecular distillation a natural extraction technique. A deeper extraction that appears to contain some beneficial alkaloid.

I already ordered the Arabic HS from BullCity (10ml bottle) and plan to mix it with ECX base at from 3mg/ml to 6mg/ml Nic strength. The question is, since it is factory sealed (?) and should be pretty intense as compared to RTS Re-bottled Hangsen's, should I Streep it like good ole Rip does for a few days, or just take the cap & tip off (assuming it has one) and let it steep for about 2-6 hrs. then cap it and let it sit for a couple weeks cap back on, what are ya'lls suggestions ??

Edit: I will be using my Cthulhu V2 and my Lemo V2 for this.

Edit 2: Never mind, Found it in Jeremy's post # 2874 on page 144.

Yeah, some of the info has been hard to find and what we had found before was molecular distillation. Which may be very similar or the same thing they are referring to chromatography.

"Why use hangsen?

Hangsen are one of the leading E Liquid suppliers and manufacturers in terms of expertise and experience. Hangsen’s CEO invented one of the very first recipes for E Liquid back in 2004, so you know that their technical knowledge and ability are second to none. Hangsen are also the world’s largest E Liquid manufacturer and only use top graded ingredients when creating their wide range of vaping products.

Hangsen are dedicated to quality. All Hangsen E Liquids are made with 99% pure nicotine, naturally derived flavouring, vegetable glycerin and carefully sourced propylene glycol, a chemical compound found in vegetables such as tomatoes, potatoes, peppers and eggplants. It is also utilised in inhalers used by asthma patients.

Hangsen E Liquid is made using a state of the art process known as molecular distillation that removes impurities from the compound. Hangsen’s 10,000 square metre factory is equipped with state of the art equipment and testing devices to guarantee product consistency and quality. No E Liquid leaves the Hangsen factory without being carefully tested for safety and quality.

All Hangsen E Liquids are supplied in safe, child proof bottles and contain a label clearly stating the nicotine content. Hangsen offer more than 300 different E Liquid flavours (including menthol sensation, caramel, chocolate, cherry and tobacco to name a very small selection) and are adding more all the time. Join millions of satisfied ‘vapers’ around the world and choose Hangsen E Liquids today."

Doing some taste testing of a few Hangsen tobaccos over the next few days. I'll try and search box reviews of these tobaccos before I haul off and ask some same questions again.

But, HS CO tobacco? Can't seem to find many post on this flavor. HS says it's a Cohiba....hmmm? To me it has the faint flavor of the FA SoHo or a premixed Tribeca; sweet tasting, with caramel, slightly nutty and a funnel cake flavor. I never tasted a Cohiba cigar which tasted like this!?!.....like a day at the fair?

Any other folks have the HS CO tobacco in their stash?

Give the Arabic 1-2 weeks as a start to reaching it's final (and magnificent) flavor. However, having said that you can also start after a couple days. Enjoy!

1-2 weeks steep, Thanks (is that with cap on or off). I'm at page 156 in this thread and have read that Art likes to "Cook" his Hangsens ? I've got some more reading, and Learning to do.

Edit: I've already got over 40 book marks from page 133 up to 156 so far. This thread is VERY informative, just the kind I like.

Edit 2: That's some blog you have there dannyv45. Thanks for writing it up and letting us inexperienced DIY'ers benefit from you're experience. I'll get to that "hit and miss", as a reference, or when I have a question about this or that. Thanks Again.

Cap on. The only reason I know of to leave the cap off is if there's excess alcohol you want to evaporate. If you're doing so, stick a cotton ball in the top to keep out dust, etc. And yeah, if you cook your juice you can accelerate some aging but my experience is it won't get you all the way there. I have crock pot and digital thermometer but my preferred approach is to set fresh mixes on my receiver (in metal tray) for a 3-4 days and then give a few more weeks of shelf aging. This warms at a lower temp than the crock pot -- not saying this any better or worse than crock pot, but works fine. I generally have enough juice on hand that shelf aging works just fine. BTW, I have first hand experience with leaching of plasticizers and use only glass bottles. Enjoy!

Which reminds me that I need to pick up some more glass bottles. I'm still using some plastic.

I'm sure it's been mentioned, but a couple drops of tobacco absolute in the bottle combined with HS tobaccos ain't bad at all, I'm using the ECX diluted variety. I'm using it with Magic Mix, pretty solid. Definitely going in the pot come RY4 day.

JD (and the rest) I got a pretty good deal on glass bottles from Amazon prime. For $99 a year, it's been more worth it than I thought. My stuff usually gets here on the third day from ordering.

Realize that buyhangsen has had there going out of business sale going on for some time and there stock has passed it's expiration date. Now this is not a bad thing in fact I find Hangsen flavorings get better with age so don't get upset when you see these expired dates there still fine to use. I have many 50ml bottles from there that all taste wonderful. I just wanted to mention that because there has been some negative postings on here about this. I am likely the most informed person on this forum when it comes to hangsen flavorings so my word is your bond on this.
