I have 5 different Hangsen tobacco flavors, some are mixed with one other flavor, and some are just the single tobacco flavor, one I have, I took all five and mixed together, came out quite good. Your right, they are good by themselves. I like keeping it simple. :)

I had a few diferrent tobacco flavorings in a zip lock that started to leak and the labels blurred up. I mixed them all together and wow, what goodness. I have no idea what they were except that they were relabeled from NEV. Will try to check my email receipt from when I ordered them

For the record, I discovered these guys the other day:

Hangsen Flavor Concentrates

.....slim pickings, but they do carry Hangsen and their pricing is right in the middle of BCV and RTS.

There prices seem to be higher on some hangsen and on par with other hangsen flavors compared to BCV. Have you ordered from them and are they re bottled or original bottles? Any advantage that you can see over BCV or RTS other then being an alternate source?

Always good to have another alternate to BCV and RTS when there out of stock provided they carry top quality product.

I have not personally ordered from them, but I'll ask my bud who does and post the results.

Back with info about this.....

Well, I assumed my bud purchased his HS from them; wrong. He buys from BCV like a lot of us. However, I did email the the company and got this reply within about 5 minutes:

--------------

Thank you for taking the time to contact us!

We are very proud to say that have been fully approved and authorized to bottle, relabel, and resell by Hangsen. Most flavors are purchased in bulk size - approximately 4 Liters and larger - Direct from the manufacturer. We offer the each flavor as the manufacturer intended - that is to say the flavors are the same strength and weight by volume as we receive them. We do not dilute, cut nor add anything to any of our vendors flavors. They are 100% genuine!

Bottling takes place in a clean-room environment, which will soon be moving to a larger facility on site. Smaller bottles, such as 10 and 30ml, are filled by mechanical means (machines), or using Class A laboratory "to deliver" apparatus such as Eppendorf digital pipettes. Larger bottles are typically measured by weight.

Each technician operating in bottling is extensively trained in proper filling technique, sanitation, data-entry, safety and inspection. All are required to wear proper attire to ensure the absolute cleanest, particle free environment possible. The possibility of cross contamination is completely eliminated by never utilizing the same apparatus more than once, between sanitizing cycles.

We take great care to ensure that every step of the chain of custody of all flavorings are properly handled, all equipment properly sanitized, correct temperatures and storage conditions are maintained, and that all batch numbers are properly cataloged, either by date, serial number, UPC or combinations, extensively and painstakingly tracking thousands of them for over 2 years.

Although we have a very small offering of Hangsen flavors now - we hope to add many more over the next few months. In total (all vendors) we have over 1800 unique flavors in stock - most available on our site, with more added weekly. We have a catalog of over 3000 that we intend to offer - and are currently working on our own unique line of proprietary flavorings. DIY is our passion!

Let us know if you have any further questions! We are more than happy to answer them, and if you are ever in the area, stop on by and say hi!

Sincerely Your Friends,

The DIY Crew

I'm not a big fan of rebottled concentrates, but I am suitably impressed with their response time and transparency. I'll stick with BCV or others that provide HS in original bottling for now; experience tells me, one can have limited success otherwise. ;)

Long time ago I got the rebottled 120ml HS desert ship from RTS. I built 100 mls of each desert ship from RTS and original packaging from BCV, they both had the exact same color, taste and my summary is that they were both the same juice. Just too bad that RTS prices went up cause I have to order some RTS TA soon and have to pay the shipping on the single product but that RTS TA is something great when mixed with my HS tobacs so I have to take one for the team. ;)

Yeah, while I do appreciate the fact that RTS has most likely every Hangsen tobacco, it's not so much that I have to pay $5.85+ $6.60s&h to get one of the flavorings I know I like (from that I can make approx. 240ml of juice), it's when I want to try a new one that kinda is a bummer. I would estimate that I have 12 vials of HS baccos' that I don't care for vs 3 that I do, that stuff adds up :D

My new solution is to try the pre-mixed stuff from Caterpillar vapes ($2.99 for 10ml) and If I like the flavor profile, go ahead and order a 30ml of concentrate.

I'm the opposite so far, every HS tobac I have got has hit a home run. Its the FA, CAP and INW tobacs that have failed and now sit on the bench never to make it into the game again. :)

That's awesome. I wish it were the same for me. 100% agree about FA (Flavourart, correct?) I have about a dozen or so of those, the only two I like are Dessert Ship and Cam-T and those are only additives I mix in other HS tobaccos.

But off the top of my head in my cabinet:

The good:
Magic Mix
Red USA
Flue Cured

and sometimes Congress

The "OK":
Indian
'tobacco'
Churchill
(not mixed yet, but smells like 'Indian' /'tobacco')

The Ugly:
Virginia
Instrument
USA Mix

On one hand, as far as the Ok/ugly catagories, I'm glad I know what I like and what I don't, on the other hand I wish i had my 30 bucks + shipping back

Ordered Wednesday, here today (Friday). Thanks BC, you got my order out lightning fast! I'm vaping some fresh mixed 4% Black Label at the moment and wondering why I waited so long to try it. Very nice light but deep enough tobacco with just enough clove that you have no doubt what's in there, but not the least overpowering. I'm doing my best to toss the rest of this in the drawer for some steep time lol. :vapor:

Ditto on HS .. the best
I like just a few each from INW,VZ, FA, and TFA ... (slim pick'ns)
I have found the Arabian, Brazilian, and RY4 from GM (German) brand to be good.
I have a LOT sitting in a drawer that didn't make the grade :grr:
Maybe I should mix them all together in a bottle and see what I get ... heck, they are destine for down the drain anyway

I got a HS Virginia that I built on April 2nd. Since I see HS Virginia on your bad list I thought I give it a taste(drop on the back of the hand), its still IMO somewhat green but its getting sweet so I'll pull some out and cut it to 3% and see how it goes. It has a mellow grassy taste that could go with other tobacs in my blends.
Well there is couple hangsen tobacs I don't like and its the Tab Blend that has a ashy taste and just not for me and Deluxe, its got a chocolate taste and I don't like coffee or chocolate amongst many other flavors. I end up throwing away the tab but will vape the deluxe mixed with a mint and its actually not bad.
One thing I am really enjoying the last of a 50ml I built of BullCity SC Cohiba at 1.25%. Its adds a sharp cigar to my vape.
My BCV order is sitting at the parcel depot in Idaho, took 2 days to be delivered so going for a drive tomorrow. Got me a jug of HS Elder Captain, SC Real Cig, 3x INW Garuda TA and 4x 50's of HS Desert Ship. The Desert Ship is mostly for my wife and she chugs 50-60mls a week and I build her juice at 4.5%.

So after reading your post, Alter, I decided to do the taste test myself (on the Virginia). Man is that stuff sweeeeeet. :)

So, way, way back deep in my cabinet has to be the most interesting HS flavor that I forgot to list....

Hangsen Smooth- Opening the bottle, you get a strong smoking cigarette taste on top of a really good Tobacco absolute. But here's the thing, I mixed it up at a meesley 2% and BAM, MONSTER throat hit. However, that wonderful tobacco smell that shot out when I opened the bottle wasn't there. Weird. Gonna let this one steep.... I may love it.

I don't have the HS version, but I do have the TFA
Too me, the TFA Smooth has no flavor or TH
I don't even consider it a "tobacco"
But ... I use it a lot . I like to add a drop or so to some of my fruits. It gives them "body" ... without adding flavor or taste.
It just takes away that "watery" mouth feel and taste that some fruits have when mixed.
So, it's in my "additive" drawer.
Have you tried both TFA, and HS .. I'd like to know the difference between the two.

LOl, Yep, I've tried TFA Smooth "tobacco". I think in an earlier post I likened the flavor to "old pineapple Lifesavers" :D Yeah, that TFA absolutely does not resemble tobacco in any way. I haven't found one single TFA that tastes remotely like a tobacco. If someone knows one (not RY4 double) please let me know :)

To me, the TFA "tobacco's" are good (only) for mixing.
I like to use the Black Honey with fruits and other tobacco's
I find the French Pipe to be very soft, and smooth .. kinda a relaxing vape.
I also like the Tobacco Blend ... and the "Tobacco", both solo.
They are both a very mild vape, so I can see where you would not put them very high on the tobacco list. They are defiantly NOT in your face flavors.
But I find of the rest of their tobaccos are "in your face", and even leave a yucky aftertaste that's hard to get rid of.
So, I share your opinions of TFA's tobaccos ... I wouldn't miss them if they quit making tobaccos, because there are so many other good ones out there ... that I could go without and never miss them

Guess the Hangsen's really spoiled me :D

How's the Black honey, though? Never had that...

I mix it from time to time. Takes a long steep to get right. Like a month or so.

I personally don't get much tobacco flavor when I vape it. It's sort of an unusual flavor that's hard to describe. Earthy/fruity/spicy/subtle. That's all I can say...lol
