The 3% FA 7 Leaves Ultimate with .5% FA Black Fire tobacco turned out to be a great tobacco flavor for me. After steeping for almost two weeks I dipped into it and vaped about 30ml in one day.

I notice you lowered your percentage to 3%. Did it affect the flavor that much?

I think I originally did 2% with 7 Leaves as a standalone flavor. Upping it and adding Black Fire brought it into a range I like better than the standalone mix.

That was from a recipe I found on one of these threads and I used it as posted. It just worked well, so I haven't changed it. Adding FA Black fire toned down the sweetness by pushing it to the background and adding some smoky elements to the mix. FA 7 Leaves is a pretty good standalone juice that requires a lengthy steep by itself, but it was low in "cigarette flavor" without the Black Fire Tobacco element, IMO.

No.5 and T5 (Now discontinued) have been my main vape for 2 years now. At 7% add 1% AP to increase the nuttyness and it's perfect.

Tried my first AP additive on the 7 Leaves recipe today. My AP is A 5% mix.

2% 7 Leaves Ultimate (down from 3%)
.75% FA Black Fire Tobacco (up from .5%)
1% AP (new addition)

I wish I could remember who posted the original 7 Leaves/Black Fire recipe.

Anyone here tried any other Hangsen flavor besides tobacco? Fruits, creams, candy, desserts, custards If so how good are they?
Like all company's, they have a few good ones that stand out.
Their Juicy Peach, and their regular Peach are both good.
Most peach flavors have a "green" unripe flavor, but HS has a true ripe peach flavor.
Also, of all the Mango flavors I've tried, theirs is the top of the line.
If you like "Coke', their Blue Cola is good .. the Red Cola sucks.
Their Majito is good.
Their Raspberry is good.
Nobody (I've tried) has a good true tasting Cherry (without it turning into maraschino), but that being said the HS version is actually not bad.
Their Cappuccino is a good vape, but I wouldn't call it cappuccino.
Those's are my "pick of the litters, but everyone is different.
With my taste buds, I've pretty much passed on (PIF) the rest of their flavors.... literally, and I did try them, just didn't care for, or couldn't taste the flavor.
There are some I have, that I will finish the bottle, but not buy more of.

I was close earlier today on buying some Hangsen Watermelon.

Can anyone offer a review of this flavor, I have had trouble finding user experiences. I found a couple reviews they were both quite good but this thread would be perfect to ask before I spend the money on a bottle.

The only other two watermelons I have tried are Loranns Colorless Watermelon which I like but it HAS to be mixed with something else... doesnt work good as the dominant flavor in the recipe.

Also Capella double watermelon which I didnt care for had too much of a rind taste.

Right now Im debating between Hangsen Watermelon and TFA Watermelon. I know FW makes a couple watermelons but for the most part havent really been a huge fan of FW flavors at least the ones ive tried so far.

Thanks! Save me the trouble of searching through 225 pages for a review! Ive never tried any of Hangsens flavors before so clueless as to whats good and what to avoid.

Well it's really a personal kind of thing as far as what taste good to me may not taste good to you and vise versa. So I really don't get into recommending specific flavors. My suggestion is try the OSD line of flavors as well as there house blends. There in my opinion very good for a non tobacco flavor and easy to use at 10% across the board.

Make Your Own DIY Eliquid/Juice and Candy

You can get the SC flavors here.

Super Concentrates

And just chose what sound good to you and give them a try. With the SC brand I recommend 1.5 to 2.5%

We were just on page 8, No-no!

I have RY1 OTW! Been a while since I've tried it, the reviews I get are from "the most realistic tobacco ever" to "fresh hamster cage bedding" (wood shavings). Get back to this when it gets here on Friday. Happy New Year HS thread.

I'm doing some RY 1 now. Single flavor 5%. It was mixed on 7/23, so it's got 5+ months on the shelf.

Going tootle puffer. 9.5 watts in the Nautilus Mini. The Nautilus has the VVTF rebuildable deck in it, with Rayon.

Darned good tobacco vape. No hamster bedding here!

Happy New Year

I've only used Hangsen's RY4, how does the RY1 compare?
Might get some and try Danny's RY1, and Highway.

It's more like a neutral Virginia tobacco with very little to no sweetness but also less ashy then a standard Virginia. I find it to be a good tobacco base to build a custom RY4 on by adding your own choice of sweet flavorings to achieve your own target level of sweetness.

I personally use it for my nutty, very slightly sweet, earthy, woody tobacco recipes such as prime, tribeca clones, or a texture supplement for Nets and light accent tobacco vapes using caramel, vanilla, chocolate, mint etc. I even do a tobacco with a nice light natural orange extract note.
Also a good tobacco for use with light spice notes such as cinnamon, ginger or clove.

My RY1 arrives today, gonna get some mixed up and give it a try. :)
What's a good steep time?

Depends on if your mixing it straight or as a base for something else. straight up vape 3-4 weeks. I do find it better as a base to build on then a straight up vape.

I mixed up a 10 ml batch with Highway per your previous post.
3-4 weeks should be good but try it now so you have a baseline to gauge the steeping progress and sample at the end of each week as steeping progresses. You can also accent that with 1 - 2% inawera chocolate for an out of this world vap. One of my fav ADV's
