I'm gonna try it alone first. I'll be surprised if it even tastes like cocoa. Unless it does some kind of chemical reaction LOL

Today I opened up a bottle of USA Mix that I had been steeping for 1 week, mixed at 1 drop per 1ml of base- this takes me back, it is very classic in taste, similar to the Chinese juices that I started with when I began my vaping career. The best description is of analog cig tobacco- nothing fancy, nothing special, just a all around good ole fashioned vape.

Back with the Cocoa. Stopped at 4%. Man, this stuff is blowing my mind. I can't smell it, but I sure as hell can taste it ! It's semi sweet. More like a natural cocoa bean flavor. It feels like I have chocolate all over my lips. This would be great mixing with tobaccos. I'm thinking of mixing some Mango and Diablo Loco with this deliciousness!

I was bad and mixed just a touch of Vanilla and a dab of Cream to mine so I'll let it steep a little longer.

That mix sounds like you'll enjoy it. What percentage did you add the Cocoa? If it comes out good, please post that recipe

We didn't smoke menthols; we've never vaped menthol (although I plan on playing around with it soon). Someone we mixed up a bunch of HS tobaccos for NOW tells us he likes menthol. Ruh-roh, Rastro - time to get on this menthol thing, a.s.a.P.
So, following the 'common instructions', we crushed up 1/2 a 10ml bottle worth of crystals, and dissolved them in VG - so we're ready to go.
But we don't have ANY idea what percentage to use for starters (and we've got ZERO "taste/vape experience", so we don't even know what the end result should taste/feel like).

I'd start w/ one drop per/10 ml and adjust from there. Those menthol crystal drops are strong so don't overdo it.
**I edited, one drop per/ml is way too much for menthol crystals (good for the tobacco of course). It was suppose to be one drop per/ 10ml!

I surprised my darling Wife, with her coffee this morning. I added 2 drops of Hangsen Vanilla. Tastes really good
Maybe one of you all can help me with this? I have read that USA Red has a bit of an ash flavor, do any of you find this? Is it reminiscent of TA? I am going to get the the RY1 and another tobac flavor, but I wasn't sure whether to go with Red, Turkish or Arabic. It doesn't really matter to me as long as they have an underlying tobacco taste and nothing overtly "off."
I mix the Menthol Crystals the same except I use PG. My friend smokes menthol cigarettes and he has me mix his Indian with
Menthol 3%
Koolada 0.5%
The Red to me tastes more like cig paper. It has a sharper tobacco taste out of all the Hangsens I've tried. The Arabic has cocoa notes, which is on the sweeter side. I think you will enjoy the RY1 and Red. Great choices Mr Mann

Will do. On one hand, I want to try something that is not really known, but on the other hand, I don't want to spend the money just to tell everyone else not to. 'Tis a conundrum. Back to searching.

I added just a hint of the Hangsen Vanilla to it. This is pleasantly smooth and subtle.
I have a few Hangsen Flavors sitting on my shelf wondering what can I mix up. So I made something with the Hangsen Banana Desert (smells weird) hopefully I like it

...and couldn't be happier, they are ALL excellent, the best baccy DIY I've done...I really like the slightly acidic tangy-ness that Hangsen has, very appealing to my tastes.
As an aside, I was recently in Florida and picked up some gingers e-juice baccy and very much enjoyed the two I tried...very much, but I'm NOT spending $22 for 30mls., so I get home and order these Hangsen flavors and there's pretty much no doubt IMHO that she uses Hangsen for her base on the tobaccos...
So happy I get what I wanted and these are even better!!!

I'm definitely going to order some raspberry to add to my Hangsen watermelon as recommended.
Any suggestions on how to mix the orange? I tried 1 drop per ml and it tastes like orange crush soda. If anyone has any recipes using Hangsen orange I'd love to hear about it.
