Noticed mention of an ashy taste to some concentrates. No complaints here but are things ashy and I don't notice it? I've only tried Hangsen Indian,TAB,Desert Ship,and Arabic which remind me of tobaccos and nothing ashy. Are these ashy? If they're ashy they're delicious!

Just finished 2 ml of Gold & Silver. I am a new vaper (less than a month) but this has to be the worst liquid I have tried so far. It doesn't taste like tobacco. It also has a hint of what I think is a pineapple kind of taste.
What type of Gold & Silver was it? Premixed or DIY? Authentic Hangsen or fake?
Tab isn't, but Indian is. You will get a really salty taste and it taste just like ashes. Kind of taste like a nitrate that they would use to cure bacon, or salt peter. Man I tasted all kinds of stuff when I was a kid! It just bothers me, it seems to linger in my mouth for a long time and kind of sickening to me. When I 1st quit smoking I May have liked it? Everyone is different and to me a little goes a long way. You will notice it if you come down in your flavor%.Noticed mention of an ashy taste to some concentrates. It was in a Hangsen labelled 10 ml bottle.
It had HS on the cap and bottom. So I think it's authentic.
I also now started on Hangsen "USA Mix". Didn't like that either. It's almost the same as the "Gold & Silver" without the trace pineapple taste. Has an ashy metallic taste - don't how better to describe - not pleasant at all. I also have a 10 ml bottle of Hangsen "Desert Ship" - still haven't tried that.
Vapeman I wonder if they are too fresh and need to steep / or too old. When you open the cap on gold n silver does it smell like opening a fresh pack of smokes? Maybe you just don't like the hangsen flavors..
Yeah cess I think if your just coming off smoking you'd probably like the ash. I initially liked the red but now it reminds me of an ash tray blending something with it to sweeten the pot may help. I'm sure there's a flavor that will mask it. Tab blended maybe or ry4 or ap

Again premix or diy, sounds like diy. It is mandatory to steep these or it will not taste right.
Good points. I use RY4 to add sweetness. My last order I got just plain "USA-Mix" instead of the "Red" version and will report back after I've mixed some up.
I think I'm a "part-time" ashy lover but not a full-time one. I still like RY1 for a change of pace and I'm enjoying the "Indian" also, even though it's somewhat "ashy."
My main Hangsen flavor is still "Tab-Blended" and I sometimes even add a bit of "RY4" to it! HA!

That does sound good. I've got various vanillas and have some "Black and Mile" also (not the "plus" version.)
Sdh, if you don't mind let us know how it turns out and what ingredients/percentages you used so we can all get on board with it!

I just made some using black n mild plus with 5 additional drops of vanilla (Flavors express version) and 2 drops of tobacco additive aka real cig from ecx. It smells good. I have some loaded in a aspire carto right now.
I made vanilla tobacco with 5% Hangsen cigar with 1% Flavor Express vanilla.
I still have to pick up some Hangsen vanilla when I have time...I might just buy the powdered vanilla and be done.

Sounds like the ashy flavors don't agree with you try the T5 or highway. More nutty then ashy.

What's premix, dry, steep?
What they are asking is. Do you mix your own juice ? Flavoring, Nicotine, VG, and or PG. Or do you vape already made E liquid ?
I hope he didn't fill a tank with concentrate and no nic juice mixed as that would be a spoiler.
Yes it would. I tried a Hangsen flavor at 30% and my head spun like a top !That would be terrible!
