I've vaped Dekang for a long time and tried some Hangsen just to compare. I found Hangsen Tobacco, Virginia, and RY4 to share the same underlying taste that I call "green". It's something akin to vaping the smell of a fresh cut lawn. That's a nice smell when you inhale the aroma of fresh cut grass, but it's not something I like in the juice I'm vaping.

Is it just me or does anyone else pick up on the difference?

I don't get that from Hangsen, but I can tell you that what you are tasting is from their tobacco extraction. There is a difference between Hangsen and Dekang tobaccco tastes, but they both use tobacco to extract from and their processes are likely different (actually, Hangsen doesn't use just "one" process).

Jimi D!!! or any other HS Strawberry lovers.

Mixed it at 3%. Gave it a couple days and my wife LOVES the flavor but says its a bit "harsh". Lower the % or give it more steep time?

I will step in and say that you need to steep it longer for sure. at least one week than maybe two. Otherwise you will chase that flavor percentage around for ever. Somone else should chime in at some point but let us know!

I wouldn't go lower on the percentage, maybe a little less PG in the mix or a drop of Cream. At least your Wife loves the Flavor.

The Hangsen Fruits don't need to steep a day is fine.

I also was mostly a Dekang dude before I started d.i.y. "DK-Tab" and now "Tab Blended" are probably my all time favorite flavors.

I don't notice this "grassy" undertone you speak of with Hangsen.

If it makes any difference to anyone I get my Hangsen SCs from ECX.

Thanks,

Norman

Thank you all for the "Indian" suggestion. I brewed up a batch Sunday morning. 100ml and it's had a few hot baths. I'm letting it steep but couldn't help but "cheat" and try a bit of it today. Of all the Hangsen I've tried I'd say it's the most similar to "RY1"; perhaps being not as "ashy" or "smoky?" Heck; I don't know. It's a good flavor.

Also, after much hardheadedness on my part I'm now part of the "mix at 3% club." HA! I don't know if all my Hangsen mixes will stay at 3% but it's easy to add more if needed. Even though the "Indian" has not fully steeped it's already tasty at 3% and I can't imagine having to add more.

Thanks again,

Norman

HA! I don't know if I want it to get more "ashy" or not.

My favorite flavor is "Tab-Blended." Would you guys say that's a "nutty" flavor?

The reason I'm asking is I got some AP from TFA last week and I've read some posts about using it at 1-2% to add a "nutty" flavor to mixes. What are some of the Hangsen flavors you all add it to? I think I read that Danny adds it to "Arabic?"

What other Hangsen flavors do you all add it to?

Thanks,

Norman

yea, I was really disappointed when Indian got ashy, I was really getting into that flavor too. I am not tasting anymore until the flavors are steeped. I dont know why but all the ashy flavors are starting to bother me. I find myself going back to Highway to get that darn taste out of my mouth. I did add 1% AP to that on my last batch. But that is the only one so far.

@Jimi, I just found my box of flavourart tobaccos i thought I tossed and Desert ship was in there. Before I buy Hangsen DS known ashy flavor. Did that mix help get rid of the ashy taste, or where you being sarcastic? I am naive man! That molasses/camel description sounded good. Except the ash.

I think I see a pattern of there cig. brand clones being ashy?????

No sarcasm here man. The ash is still there, but it's sweeter in a non chemical taste. It definitely enhanced the Hangsen notes, that gives it a robust overall flavor.

I get DIY flavoring from either ecigexpress or vapingzone,,and have yet to notice that ashy taste everybody is tasting

Who even knows if we are all talking about the same thing. HA! I think we are. I've noticed with RY1 that there is an almost "analog" quality that sort of tastes/smells like cigarette smoke. Like a "burnt" taste or like whatever Lucky Strikes used to call "Toasted."

It's sort of cool and it sort of isn't for me personally. One reason it's weird is that I build my own wicks/coils and it reminds me of the smell of burnt cotton (which I use for wicks.)

But not all Hangsen flavors have what I'm referring to as this "ashy" taste. I don't notice it with "Tab-Blended", etc.

Also, you get less "ash" smell/taste and more flavor taste at lower % of flavor it seems to me. I like RY1 way more at 3% than I did at 5%.

Thanks,

Norman

I've purchased nic juice base from MyFreedomSmokes several times. Crystal clear purity I order at 50/50 - 24mg. Excellent packaging, fast shipping, and very responsive via email. Placing another 500ml order to take advantage of that Black Friday Sale as well. Free shipping & 17% OFF with code BLACKFRIDAY. Very generous.

Well this last order backfired on me. Took advantage of black friday sale 500ml bottle 17% off and free shipping. Tracking# shows delivered YESTERDAY but it's not on my property. Never had anyone walk into enclosed patio area and lift a package but apparently happened this time. No juice. Sickening. Happily waited a week for it but oh well. Will have to find a vendor that delivers with pick up at post office only now.

HA! I don't know if I want it to get more "ashy" or not.

I do switch to TAB for a sweeter, ashy, but nuttier flavor. Glad you noticed as I wasn't sure if it was my 1% AP or natural flavor. I like it!

 LOL....Yea; a salty ashy taste to mimic smoking. Your right they dont all have it. A lot of people like it but it is a little to much for me. There is another smokey flavor as well to mimic a fire cured tobacco. The ashy stays with me for a long time.

I will most likely end up buying all of these tobaccos that, are not menthol and are flavorings. But maybe no more until after Christmas. My 306DCA stripped out inside and will not hold an atty. Ordered an Atmistuque Grail 306 ver. and that was not cheap! Can be converted to a rebuildable if I ever do decide to give up on the 306. off topic again. I may take a break and try some of the Polish ones Jimi mentioned a while back, Inhawa (sp)?

Dude that sucks having your package go missing. I would wait a day or so because I have had those tracking number reports be way off before. Said delivered and get it a day or 3 later, or Shows just shipping and it is at my door next day. Sometimes you do have to pick it up at the post office if you are not home? I think the sender insures it also! Check with the P.O..

I've tried all my tobaccos without AP and now add AP to all tobaccos. Using AP at 1.5% to all tobacco (Hangsen included) and 2.% to Indian. Yes, that AP is something I can't live without on vapes.

I'm adding Hangsen Churchill to my next order. Don't recall anyone doing a review on it. If they have, anyone have a link?

I've talked about Churchill with jimi , I'm not good at flavor profiles. I really like it it was my first ejuice and quit smoking instantly. Its tobacco with a slight dried fruit described as apricots by jimi. Its their Winston of course. It takes some steep time one of the longer ones.

I have the smooth tobacco in my cart. Hangsen says its smooth with an incredible TH. Anyone try this one?
