Hi everyone. (waves) Just popping through to let y'all know I grabbed a few tobacco flavorings. I tried the "firstorder!" coupon I found wayyy back in the thread and it is still active. It gave me 10% off.
There are a few tobaccos left, but l looks like Arabic, Canadian, Congress, Desert Ship, Highway, Indian, RY1 and RY4 concentrates are gone now.
At checkout there was an option for free shipping but not sure if it's order-amount tied or not? I'll pop back in when the mailman delivers and let you know how the free shipping-time to SoCal/accurate-to-order turns out for me.

All the flavors I've tried so far.. Ranked by strength of flavor.
3.33% gives good strong flavor.

Ry2 (similar to USA mix but nuttier/stronger I think)
Acceptable at 3.33-4%
Elder captain (not quite as strong as others above IMO but close)
Churchill (good flavor but not in your face, I quit camel lights cold turkey with this - as my first hangsen and bottled juice ever)
Acceptable 3.33-4% but a HS designed light flavor base. I don't think they are intended to be strong at all. Light to ultra light smokers.

I received my partial shipment today. Order was placed on 3/4 before open of business and was delivered this morning, 3/7. This was with the 'free shipping.' from Brick, NJ to deep SoCal.
Packaging: standard office-depot-type bubble-padded manila envelope, no add'l bubblewrap. All sample caps were shrinkwrapped.
Leakage: Two samples had slight leakage in transit - the raspberry and the pear. Very minimal, just enough to make the package (and my hands) smell lightly raspberry and to half- discolor their respective labels, however, the bottles remain sealed and look full. This is pretty typical in my experience of air-mail manila-envelope shipments and not enough to complain about - especially at the price-point.
Order Fulfillment: All tobacco type concentrates ordered, and all except one equivalent tobacco e-liquid sample, were received. Not shipped (yet?) were 3 'beverage' type concentrates and most of the fruity e-liquid samples ordered.
Ordering Process: The day I ordered, I received a confirmation notice, followed by an 'order in-fulfillment' notice, followed by a "partial ship" notice. The partial shipment notice showed the entire order, but didn't tell me what was partially shipped ! The packing list received with the order was accurate as to contents. I'm sure all will be well. I'll give them a call Monday and see if they need a substitution list. and I'll post back when I do receive the completed order.
Misc: All of the samples, both concentrates and eliquids, have a born date of 12/6/2013 and an expiry of 12/05/15.
Back when the rest of the shipment gets here. Hope some other folks can get in on this before BuyHangsen closes up shop.

I didn't care about nic, only doing this to test if we're going over on the flavoring since it was mentioned and I thought these were very light. But, I found a bottle of base I mixed that same day as these juices, 90VG/10DW 6MG, so I used that and mixed 2ml with 2ml of each Pipe and Elder Captain.
My prediction is half as much flavor, which was very weak to begin with, so I bet it will be basically flavorless to me especially since this is all made with VT Nic.
I'll update after they've had a few days to mix up again.
I doubt either one of these would fit the bill for you then, unless maybe you vape high PG (like 70-80PG)
Tested the cut mixes of Pipe and Elder Captain (3%) today, and as I suspected, same weak flavor but at half the strength of the already weak 6% batch.
The only thing I can think of is, these are indeed weak flavors in general and maybe some can taste them better than others?
Also of note, as mentioned above by TaketheRedPill, mine are from * Buyhangsen * and they were damn near expired upon arrival as was the rest of my entire order!
I was going to complain when they arrived, but I knew with them going out of business soon I'd never get any fresh ones shipped out to replace these. Being nearly two years old probably doesn't help the flavors that much, but they were sealed and the other flavors I mention above are not weak at all like these, so I do suspect the Hangsen mention of Pipe or Elder being strong is just marketing. I've seen several people say the Pipe is weak over the past few years, can't remember many comments on Elder.

The Arabic I got from buy hangsen didn't seem as good as I'm used to, it was over a year old, so I made my last order from trusty RTS.

I wrote the above while super tired, and got the vendor wrong, corrected above now. As soon as you mentioned buyhangsen I realized my mistake

Did anyone ever try to complain to them, and get anywhere with a refund or fresher flavors?
Most of mine show expiration as 12/15 i.e. still have a year. As the company is going out of business, and prices were low, I just keep in the frig. to maintain freshness. Have noticed no problems with potency. My guess is owner overbought initial inventory and has already moved on. Doubt complaining would yield results. Maybe save the stress and buy next round from BCV or RTS? That's just me -- and I did go back for more.
Mine say that too, but neing born in 2013 means nearly 2 years anyway. I don't have "Fresh" of those flavors to confirm they are bad or off due to age anyway, and I'm not buying new to compare in case it's exactly the same. It very well may be a non-issue, all my others seem fine to me with same dates, but of course I don't have new/fresh of those to compare with either.
I'll just accept those two are weak flavors and not for me and be done with it! I probably will buy elsewhere next time too, if those buyhangsen prices don't draw me back in again

I bought some HS from Bull City (deluxe and #5) recently. The flavors aren't as strong as when I order from RTS. They're still fine just a little different than I'm used to. I've been mixing the same % recipes for over a year and there was a notable difference. I might stick with RTS from now on.
I just got anew batch of RY4 flavouring form RTS and it was very weak,more carmel than the ''ry4'' i think Hangsen has changed the recipe it seems.
The best Hangsen flavors I have purchased were from Buyhangsen.com. I know some say theirs were weak, but that mystery of altered flavors can happen anywhere. I've purchased from RTS, Ecig Express and Buyhangsen and simply Buyhangsen ones win. Too bad they are closing their store!
Yeah, I checked out the Buyhangsen site. ECX no longer carries Hangsen the last time I checked. Guess I'll need to check out RTS. I only need a couple flavors, and dang it, 1 of the two RTS doesn't have. I'm looking for the RY4, and vanilla.

And it appears Bull City is out of both.
I tried the Hangsen Vanilla a couple months back and liked the flavor really well but it gunked my coils fairly quick. Anyways, I thought I'd mention the FA Vanilla as it's flavor profile is similar to Hangsen, to my taste buds at least. Alas, it's bit of a coil gunker too but not too bad. Also I've been getting good results with mixing the TFA Vanilla Swirl with other Vanillas. Just a thought.
Edit: I should clarify that the amount of build up on my coil wasn't that much more, it was just that I'd start tasting it much sooner. If I used as much as I liked (usually around 4%) in my mix I couldn't vape more than 3 or 4 ml before I'd start wanting to change my wick.
