Thanks for posting - DE Tobacco just went way up on my list of future flavors to try.Hear, hear. Discovered Hangsen's Churchill later rather than earlier but it has become a go to favorite when in a mood for solid tobacco flavor that is lighter and not overly sweet.
Another rarely mentioned essence that has become a personnal favorite is Hangsen's DE Tobacco. This is a great, strong tobacco that is understated and elegant with light notes of toast, brown sugar and maple. While different flavor profiles, to my tastes DE Tobacco ranks near Hangsen's Arabic and above IW's Gold Ducat when looking for a full flavor tobacco.
Churchill and DE Tobacco may be a couple of Hangsen's most overlooked; and I highly recommend. If you try, please post so others might benefit. By point of reference I have ~40-50 Hangsen's essence on hand with around 20-30 that I keep mixed. Enjoy!
That will work, don't really need 500ft.![]()

Yeal, I took it that it was almost as strong as Arabic. And I think it was your post on the strength of Highway and Arabic that encouraged me to try those. I'm glad I did, love them both.Interesting to hear that about DE. Never tried it. I remember last year it got some talk, @KimchiMonger loved it, haven't seen him in quite sometime. It was said to be prunes or raisins in there wasn't it. Is that the case? And at what percentage is it strong at 3-4%?
It sounded similar to G&S, GS is pretty strong, cherry cream supposedly, but to me it's like raisin or prune too. GS has that different type of strength, not deep dark but really strong high notes.
When I first joined this thread years ago I was talking about Churchill and G&S.

But it's so cheap they should be able to afford it by then.
Nothing like some Musty 20yr old rayon from grandpa's house, I mean basement Lol.![]()
Lol, yeah I'm gonna mix up some desert ship this week.. it's been a while.
It could be the carbon on your coils and wick causing the sweet shift. That's what it does to me sometimes anyway. Or, like you said, could just be you lol. My buds do that to me sometimes also.Polished off the last of DE Tobacco mixed so can't add too much. No prunes to my taste (have Smoke and Prunes, so know da prunes...). Raisins are possible though its well balanced with no dominant flavor jumping up and down on the taste buds. And yes, what JD said; strong in the sense of full flavored.
I have GS mixed but seems all my devices need a rewick... But yes, agree with what you said about GS; a little "spikey" and lately seemingly too sweet. Could be my tastes have shifted as Tab now hits the same way; and I've moved to Number 5 for that profile (and enjoying a lot).
But yeah, give the DE a shot, you might like it -- and maybe a lot. Don't believe there is anything off putting in the flavor.

I know you may know this, but Bull City might have the flavor you like in a 50ml for about the same price as a 30 at Rts.Just hangin around, but nothing to write about, except I need to check my Hangsen inventory and probably make an order. I want to start getting 30ml bottles now instead of the 10ml's.
Yeah, it's a better deal at BCV, but I have a bunch of reward points at RTS.![]()
