Oh, and Dale, I can't remember if I answered you regarding if he has insurance.
I was concerned too, so I asked, and he does. :nun:
He's still on his mom's policy, but there will be a fair sized deductible, and co-pay I'm sure.
So, even that will add up. But definitely not as much as paying the whole thing.

    Enjoy your cake.
I'm going for real this time.

I will skip cooking with honey though, just cuz.
And I won't mix it with ghee cuz I don't really care for ghee. ;)
    I did ;)

I don't know what ghee is and don't think I want to

All caught up :w00t: So anyways I did a road trip today to a new indoor range a guy I know opened and took care of a bunch of my shopping (went to my favorite meat place)after I drove around and looked at an awful lot of flooding, from what I could see this flood is just about as bad as the last one and it's not done raining yet

Missed the morning, but Hiya OBG.
Sure is rainy and gray. :nah::nah::nah:

Hi,yes it was but a good day to make sure most of the winter salt is washed from the underside of my truck :D

Just finished lunch. 1/2 off Papa John's today.

No way I could do that :laugh:It's all or nothing when I get my hands on a sub :)

I haven't gotten the lo-down, but got a text that my g.nephew is being discharged with a follow up scheduled for two months from now, so PRAYERS ANSWERED!!

    It does ;)
And there is going to be a LOT to it

I mainly ground beef and bagged it today, did a few other things and helped with clean up.

Congrats on your new job Dale, hope you enjoy it

    Oh those pretty steaks!

I got 8 like this from my friend the butcher and a bunch of other stuff,T Bone :drool::drool::drool: :w00t::laugh:
    Just a little over 1" thick :D

    Oh those pretty steaks!

    That's what I said :D

You'll be fine. I have full faith in your learning abilities. ;)

    Me too :)

Officially a brussel sprout hater over here. We had stuffed shells for dinner with brussel sprouts and salad as the veggie. I tried two and uggggg. Nasty!! But at least I can say I tried them now ;)

    I'll take your share

Did you watch Wizard of Oz too young?

    :lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

These were roasted with olive oil, honey and balsamic vinegar. :nah:

    I steam mine,more better :)

I LOVE BRUSSEL SPROUTS. :D Pass them this direction.

Hey I want some too ;)

You're not alone Sara...I hate, hate, HATE brussel sprouts! YUCK!!! :nah:

    Another one,poor little sprouts :lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

My guess is they were too big. The circumference of a quarter is about as big as I like. Maybe a little bigger.

Size does matter even in produce

Dale, you're going to do just fine...I'm sure you'll catch on quick to the things you're not used to and before you know it, it'll be nothing to you...I'm with Lori, I have faith in you! :)

She'll be running the place in no time :)

Yes, he sliced them in half. I said it tasted like how road tar smells.

I'm for sure not trying that recipe :nah:

Dale, I agree with Lori and Angel. You'll have it down pat in no time. :)

    It's unanimous :thumbs::thumbs::thumbs::thumbs::thumbs:

I don't know what ghee is and don't think I want to

That makes 2 of us I think

    Sweet dreams Lurkers :)

Wow, what a MEGA
Nice score at the butcher shop!!

I had pizza, I don't think that Papa John's location has subs. :(

Yes, I'd say the winter salt should be gone!

I knew once you got here I'd have to share the Brussel sprouts with you. My favorite way is steamed with lots of butter too. :). Yes  size does indeed matter! Especially with produce.
You should try that recipe, it's good. If you like sweet and sour, you will prob like it very much.:2c:

I guess that's the sewage treatment plant at Fenton?
Amazing what some sandbags will hold back!!
I saw that most of the major interstates looked open around STL this a.m. That's good!!
I watched a little of the news at 6 the a.m., my gosh the water!!

Good morning Dale, Fran and Sara
Sara, sorry you're going to get the rain and possibly snow. I'm sooooooo OVER all this rain.
It's just been a steady, moderate to heavy rain all night.
I just let 2 inches out of the pool, after letting 2 out yesterday a.m., and the forecast at Weather Underground shows another 2+ for today.

I have another busy day today, :nah: and I really don't want to have to get out in this rain.
I need to go check our house at the lake, the sump pump usually takes care of anything, but with this much water, I want to be sure. ;)

...have no dinner plan, so I need to figure that out at some point.

Then I want to get a couple bills paid, and my desk cleared again.

I really just want to nap and lay on the couch today.:grr:
Some days I'm just tired of being a responsible adult, today is one of those days.

    Next up, another cuppa. :)

My, my, OBG had a MEGA mega post! Wow!

Lori, sounds like a busy day...I hear on wanting to nap all the day on the couch...wish I could do that too.

We had tons of rain and storms last night and I slept like a baby through it all. ;)...It's cloudy today and only supposed to be around 70...I can deal with that.

Have a busy morning ahead as I have to finish and get out payroll...better fortify myself with more coffee...hope everyone has a great day! :)

Good morning Lori and Angel

Our chances of rain today are low but possible, high of 67.

I'm not yet at the point of dreading to go into work but I'm sure it will come
I do know I'm going to be sore after today
Oh, I'm sure you'll get to that point, we all seem to.
Glad you're chances for rain are low. :) 67 isn't too bad either.
What time do you leave for work?

Today I'll have to leave at 8:30, start work at 9. Traffic will be bad going in.
In the future I may have to be there at 7:30 a.m.
