Good morning OBG, Fran, Joey, Paul, Sara, Dale, Angel & Chili.
Blood given, quick stop for chicken breasts, post office, bank, back home now, Sausage Egg McMuffin in hand, and sippin my first cuppa.
Life is good. (haven't had a breakfast sandwich in FOREVER).
Dale, DH had a day about a week or so after the initial sickness that he thought he was getting it back again, but it only lasted a day. He's still hacking here and there...but he smokes, it'll take longer to go away.
I was on the road by 7:10 this a.m., temp was already 85 and humidity was thick.
Need to water flowers, clean that patio door, then I'm going to get chicken breasts going in the crock pot.
I got two extra to bake tonight. I've been hungry for that for awhile. Not sure what recipe I'll use, but it will have a panko/crunchy coating of some sort.
...might try the pool this afternoon.

So, how's retirement going?? It prob won't completely feel like you're retired until you don't have to prep for back to school...just guessing.

Retirement is going ok but you are right and I am already use to summers off! What is sad is that I am only on week two and am soooooo bored. I was also use to being alone during the summer and now Mr. Chili is retired too! This is definitely taking some getting used to. It's impossible to sneak in vape mail with him by my side 24/7. It is imperative that I find a hobby for him!
I may just nap later, it's so humid and hot on our patio right now, you can't hardly breathe out there.What a busy morning!
I did get my flowers and a few things watered, so that's out of the way! Oh, and the patio door is clean.
Hopefully the velcro will loosen after he's used to you being home. I'm sure he's just happy to not be alone all day by himself. You being at home is still new, but I wouldn't like a shadow either.
Maybe even a "family" meeting, for two.
BEFORE things build up and temper's flare...maybe. Does he understand you need "me" time??
Make him a "honey do" list, he'll avoid you like the plague.
