Well, maybe I should have said *alone* time.
Even when I'm busy working around the house, it's nice when there's no one around. If that makes sense.
But yeah, Paul, you're DEFINITELY deserving of some *me* time!! In the full sense.
You're always so busy.

Beautiful pics, but I can associate the heat going along with those clouds. It's hot here and having off and on light rains. Just enough to turn it into a steam bath.

It's gorgeous, but like you said, you can almost always bet a nasty thunderstorm will pop up.
We have a chance of them about everyday this week.
I love the deep blue skies, it reminds me of coastal areas.
In the full sun, it's just blistering out.
The pool is 84. But I'm not getting in it in this heat, will see how it is later in the day.

I hear ya Paul...that's how it is here...just had a little rainstorm, but was just enough to make it steamy outside...I'd rather it just be a nice steady rain...at least then it's not so hot.

Ain't Texas swell? It's been cloudy off and on but even the clouds aren't offsetting the heat! Once it hits 90 I stay in and spend my time with the Xbox! Battlefield Bad Company 2 is being revisited today!

I like getting in when it's late in the day, around 7. Relax in the pool for awhile, rinse off and change in the outdoor shower and come inside feeling refreshed. I can't go in when it's strong direct sunlight. It feels like my skin is on fire.

I know. Our "feels like" says 102.

Nope. Must be an age thing, I never remember worrying about the weather during the summers of my youth.
We went swimming (noon to 4) at the local public pool almost daily, riding our bikes across town, coming and going.
I remember some days being super hot, but it never stopped us. Ah....a toast to youthful times!!

And I don't have much on top to stop that Sun, either!
