morning dale, am enjoying a slow morning for a change. Thursday from 9-7(was supposed to be a day off) and Saturday 8-11 we had a yard sale.
Ewww! Sorry you didn't get your day off :( Hope today remains slow for you so you can rest just a bit :)

I'm no fan of running a yard sale but DH loves to

Thank you, we needed to clear out some things, and figured sell what we could then donated the left overs. Got rid if 6 totes worth of things , that are no longer in the house now.
That's awesome!! Make a little money in the process and it's a win win. :thumb:

Good morning, Dale, Sara, KC and Lurkers

Busy cleanup day yesterday. More to go today. I technically have off tomorrow, but I'm going in to finish a couple of things. Hope to be done for the day by lunchtime. Time for a quick breakfast, Dale made me hungry posting the breakfast goodies! You all enjoy your Sunday!

*tiptoes in and tucks everyone in for the night*

    Good night loves

Good morning all  Have a wonderful day today!

Angel, sending lots of healthy vibes your way. I hope your elbow feels better soon.

Chili, I'm glad things are going in the right direction for Mya! I hope they continue to get better but I'm sorry for the expensive testing. :( Loved the pics of your furbabies. Squee!!

The rain has arrived. :( I'm thinking today will be a short day which is disappointing. We are geared up with rain ponchos and umbrellas.

My favorite treat from yesterday was a raspberry wine ice cream. Super creamy custard with an appropriate hint of wine.

Kiddo did some games/rides and we saw all the things we're look for every year: butter sculpture, 9/11 memorial, cows ;) just to name a few. Today, we have to find the sand sculpture (changed buildings) and $1 baked tator. I want to try the 'Cuse (Syracuse) pizza. It has salt potatoes, bacon and lots of cheese on it. Mmm mmm
    Good morning Sara.
    State Fair??
    Sounds like a wonderful time!!
Hopefully you won't get too wet.

Good morning KC, and thank you for the coffee and flowers!!

It makes me hungry for a really BIG breakfast though.
Not a stitch of bacon in the house, or sausage. Ugh.

No lori am not on the road. I am not a transport driver, I am a trailer mechanic. work out of a nearby teminal
Oh, okay. I guess I was confused.
I knew you were a mechanic, but thought maybe they were having extra people drive down to Texas.

Good morning to all the sleeping Lurkers as well.
Slept pretty good, this cooler weather is nice!!

I think we're warming up to 88 or so today, but yesterday was around 80 ish I think.

DH pulled a brisket and some wild boar (shoulder cuts) out of the freezer yesterday to smoke today.

Not a lot going on here, just the usual.
Heading off for cuppa #2. :D

    Morning Lurkers!
Good job KC! We have cleared out of our house anything and everything we don't use or need! I was raised by parents who grew up during the depression and they kept everything! When they passed, it took a very long time to clear things out. We are determined not to have our sons go through that!
I do love going to garage sales! Our rule here is that for everything that comes in, something must go out! So now I have an ice cream maker instead of a bread machine! :)

I've only been in on a few yard sales, but not for over 30 years.
My parents had the exact same situation when their parents passed. Both of my parents were children of The Depression as well, but after clearing out their parents stuff, they cleared out their own. They also downsized twice before they passed, so that helped.
Oh noooooooo, not the bread machine! I go through spurts using mine....in fact, I may drag it out today. ;)

    Good afternoon lovely lurkers.

Did sleep better last night, but elbow seems to be bothering me a bit more today...think it got trapped underneath me at some point while I was sleeping and I didn't realize it until I woke up with a numb hand...numbness is now gone at least....oh well, I'll live.;)

Had leftover meatloaf for lunch...was wonderful! :D....We'll be having smothered cabbage and hot sausage for dinner...yum!

Hope everyone is having a wonderful day!
