Good morning Dale and lurkers

Been a busy bee this morning. Started the laundry, vacuumed and mopped the remnants from yesterday’s get together. Washed some dishes that wouldn’t fit in the dishwasher. Think everyone had a good time.

Planning on some pool time and then my parents are going to stay for dinner when they drop kiddo off. Eat up some of the leftovers. We did burgers/hotdogs, evil eggs (lol Joey), veggies/dip, baked beans, caprese skewers, fruit salad, chips/dip and strawberry shortcake for dessert.

Was a little bummed no one around here had fresh corn. Hopefully soon.

Hope everyone has a great day!!

    Good morning Sara
Glad you had such a good time with your family but sorry it created so much work for you.
DH has 3 granddaughters with him at church so they’ll all be here soon along with DS and wife I assume.

Oh yay!! Family time. Hope you have a great afternoon!!

It was pretty easy cleanup and then you feel productive when it’s done
Mostly just the grand girls, DS didn’t show until 3 and stayed maybe an hour. I’m sure he was enjoying a little alone time ;)
Glad your clean up was easy, I’m thinking about a can of soup for supper

Missing Rat2, hope everything is okay
Thank you and everything is going as well as can be expected. It is awfully hard to get caught up on your sleep when you are not getting much sleep. Thank goodness I can function with very little but I am not sure how long I can do it. I am guessing, as long as it takes. heehee

Dad did not want to grill out yesterday. He wanted Brunswick Stew. If I ever turn down a T-bone, I will be at the point where a cognitive assessment is necessary.

I wish I could see improvements in his health. Of course, he is much happier at home than he was in the hospital. (I am too) I hate not letting him move around on his own but it is well worth it to prevent any falls if at all possible.

I am keeping up so far but I miss you guys. (I do not feel the need to be politically correct) heehee Hope everyone is happy and healthy and staying cool.
