I'm waiting for him to call. He is supposed to get off at 5:30. I hope he does not think I'm hard to please. When
I had to get ready with no lights. We had a storm and lost power. When I talked to him at lunch I said it might be better to leave in the morning. It doesn't matter to me since I am not driving but that is what I would have done. He said he would ponder it.
I am on my phone now. We'll see if I can post.

The power is back on now. YAY! I am still waiting to hear from Ken. When I talked to him at lunch he said he had not packed yet. Guys travel pretty easy evidently.

So glad today is done. 3 more to go. My last customer was a doozy. He didn’t have the right documents and was putting up a fight. He said, I’m sorry that I am forcing you to do your job and my reply……I’m sorry you’re acting that way. You’re a grown man, you should know better.
I also know better but the longer I’ve been there, the harder it can be to keep quiet

Sorry your day was rough Sara
Even though it has been a long time since I worked, I still remember those people and times when it was just impossible to hold back. You never know what has happened to make people act that way. Sometimes they take their frustration out of anyone available. I do not think now that I am older, that I could go back to working with the public again. Guess I could if I had to. I don't even want to think about that.I also know better but the longer I’ve been there, the harder it can be to keep quiet

The storm we had blew all the neighbor's tree leaves over to mess up the nice yard that I had looking so good. We really did have a bad storm everywhere.
The Moose Lodge did not have any power so we went to The Boxseat which is a nice place to eat. A sports bar but with very good food. We each got different type quesadilla's and shared them (mine was the best). heehee
He took my suggestion to wait until morning but now even that has changed. His daughter and granddaughter live with his father. She called him tonight because they have all been sick for a couple of days and found out today that they all have covid. I think Ken is worried about his dad because he is 89 and has heart issues.
So we will not be going to Chattanooga as planned but he says we will leave in the morning and go Waverly and then he wants to show me some other stuff. I don't know what but I am sure I will like it. I hate it when things change but maybe it is time I learn to be more flexible. I can be for the first time and maybe that is why Ken has come into my life. He is definitely a go-with-the-flow kinda guy. Not much bothers him. Could be a good influence on me.
He told me tonight that he has nothing keeping him in TN and he really likes it around here. Ruh Roh. I told him again that I am not looking for a relationship right now but I really liked seeing him. I think he is another one that would like to be in a relationship. I am having a good time so we will just see how it goes. He sure has been nice to me and I am fond of his mustache.
I'll keep ya posted on my whereabouts. Have a great rest of the week.

Entitlement seems to be a quality many people possess these days and kindness has flown right out the window.
