Good evening, Dale and lurkers

Yay for the second half of your day, Dale! hope you get another good night's rest.

Wasn't too bad until my last customer. I'm working appointments this week but I was nice enough to call a number to help out the girls. We bent over backwards to help this guy but in the end it wasn't enough and we couldn't process his transaction. He got sassy and then said I was rude to him the entire time. :?: Whatever, dude.

Tacos for dinner. Easy and quick clean up. Time for some tv ;) Have a great evening all.

    Good evening lurkers

Advent activity: stop at Wendy's for Peppermint Frosties and drive around to look at the lights. We brought Lucy with us again this year. Such fun!

Hope everyone had a great day!
Oh! I remember doing that with the kids :)
Saw dad today and my best friend and her husband with the cancer. Dad doesn’t look good at all, Ronnie was having a good day though so that was nice.

I have not even started getting Christmas done and I am not going to worry about it. Ken said gift cards are easy and I agree.

I have been out of commission since Saturday. I am not sure what I would have done without Ken to help me. It was weird having someone take care of me.

It is scary to be hurt when you do not have any insurance. I thought I was going to have to go to the doctor but I saw improvement today. At least I did not have to stand to tinkle.

I went in my medicine bag and pulled out the drugs I did not take for my back before. They sure came in handy this time. When you hear that I took prescription meds, you know I am in pretty bad shape. I honestly think my back messed up because I quit going to the gym. Seems like a lot of things have gone bad since I quit so I plan on going back first of the year.

Ken had already told me he was not going to leave me and go home for Christmas. That made me feel awful because he needed to spend time with his family. I am better now so I do not know if I can talk him into going by himself. I think I would be fine other than this is our 1st Christmas and New Year's.
We will see how I am doing and I will ponder what I should do.

Missed y'all and posting. But I stayed on a heating pad for 3 days. Thank goodness I am headed in the right direction. Write to you soon. Have a great rest of the week.

    Good morning lurkers

I’m sorry about your dad, Dale but I’m glad you were able to spend some time with him and that Ronnie was having a good day. :nun:

Ohhh Rat2, I wondered if that was keeping you away or if maybe you were having wonderful adventures with Ken. I’m sorry it wasn’t the latter. I really hope you continue to improve.

    Hope everyones day is decent!

Good morning lurkers. Not sure how many people here might remember LynnNC, but I think she spent time in this thread a few years ago. Back when @LoriP1702 and @JoeyC were still here daily. I can't remember who else was around back then that isn't here now. I'm just trying to let people that knew her know that she was diagnosed with cancer a couple years ago, and early this month she passed away.

Good morning Rat2. Sara, TARTARA and Kad

Oh wow Kad that’s terrible about Lynn! Of course I remember her.

Sorry to hear that you’ve been in such misery Rat2 but it’s great that Ken is there to help you. Hope it’s not the motorbike riding that causing that!

I do not think the bike had anything to do with it. At least, I sure hope it does not. I have a herniated disk that I have had two nerve blocks on over the years. Sometimes it just acts up. Normally, when I feel like it is getting ready to, I stop what I am doing and take it easy. Saturday, when I was working on the leaves, I started having spasms in my back from raking the leaves away from the fence so we could mulch them and I just kept on going when I knew better.

Although I am still having some pain, I have stopped having the spasms. I only had Advil yesterday so I am definitely on the mend.
