Met my family for Italian at one of our favorite places, came out to a firework display (not for me but I joked about it) Everyone came back to our house for ice cream cake and presents and now I’m ready for bed. Well, actually, it’s past my bedtime

Yes, the back is better. I stopped having the spasms but it is still bothering me. It can take weeks to get over it. I slept for a few hours before it woke me up at 5:30.
We watched different types of movies last night. A bloody one about piranhas and then a cute one named Call of the Wild. Finished up with a funny one called We're the Miller's. I have watched more movies in the last couple of months than I have in the last several years.
Sure is more fun to watch with someone. A good reason to be up early is all the peace and quiet I have missed.
Hope everyone has a wonderful day. We are going to Christmas shop for Ken's granddaughter. This should be fun.

Our day was fairly enjoyable but still glad it’s over.
Now I can try to just relax for the next two days other than normal house stuff. I’m having some stress related issues I hope to get under control soon.
Another good day with my back although I am still taking Advil. I can tell when it is time to take more. But that is okay, I am doing so much better.
My cousin came into town from Edisto, SC. They invited us down and he cooked some delicious strip steaks. There were 8 of us and it was enjoyable.
We went to the mall today. Yes on a Saturday at Christmas time. What? Am I crazy? Don't answer that.
Ken's granddaughter is 10 and her mom said she would love anything from a store called Hot Topics. It has been over 20 years since I was at the mall. Not much has changed. I still do not like them. I always get so turned around in them. No sense of direction here. We did have fun and I am good for another 20 years. heehee That was the only gifts I was really concerned about. He gives gift cards to his other family members. That's fine with me too. He says we will get them up there.
We are supposed to be leaving today. I have my reservations for some reason. But this is our first Christmas (and maybe last, who knows) so I guess I will be leaving later today. He has given me the choice to stay or go but he said he sure would miss me. Truth be told, I would probably miss him too. But it sure would be quiet.
We borrowed my aunt's air mattress because he did not want me sleeping on the floor. My air mattress was really old and of course, it had a leak. I hope hers does work out because I was a little concerned about sleeping on the floor too. This might just end up being another adventure for me. heehee
Oh well, I am going and I am not sure when I will be back. I hope every one of you have the best Christmas ever. No matter where I am, I will think of y'all.

Slept a little bit longer. Guess I have too much on my mind. But the coffee is making it better. I am dreading my shower. Long time since I've had one this early in the morning. I will not enjoy it because I am not going to be able to sing like I usually do. I'll try to do it quietly.

Bet it was a blast. Jealous you still have malls. The ones near me are mostly empty and the big one that’s left usually is filled with troublemakers and police are always getting called, so I steer clear.
Christmas at Grandpa’s yesterday with the whole family. That was fun. Today I will be wrapping santa gifts when kiddo goes to my parents house. Last minute cleaning and prepping for tomorrow’s dinner.

Sara I’m stressing about dad maybe coming to stay with us in his last days and my ability to take care of him. His wife has talked about putting him in a nursing home and he refuses to go.
