The weight gain has upset me quite a bit. I was 3 lbs away from my goal and I have no one to blame but myself. That is okay. I will get back to eating right and going to the gym.

I am still having drainage from when I was feeling bad. I hate waking up choking. It scares me for one thing. Good thing I didn't need help. Ken slept right through me gasping for air. I wish I could sleep like that.

I did get another meal out of the leftovers from that pricey meal. I was practically full after eating my salad so I did not eat my baked potato. We both had steak left over. I added some broccoli and a salad and ta-da, supper was complete (and easy).

I also ate half of the half of chocolate cake. Told you I had no willpower. But I did not eat the ice cream.

When we got in the truck yesterday, the check engine light would not come on like it did the last 100 miles of our trip. We took the car to Advance Auto and they checked the codes. They said it was a crankshaft position sensor. After looking at a YouTube video, Ken thinks he can put it on. I have never really had to worry about repairs because my dad or ex could always fix anything. Ken tries but I do not think he is that mechanically inclined.

Hope everyone has a good day.

    Good evening :)

Hope you had a good day Dale! Mine was busy, short staffed as always but it makes the day go by quicker. Dh had a meeting so I made buttered noodles with parmesan for kiddo and I. About to start some trashy reality tv show
    Good evening Sara:wub:
Fairly busy here too. Laundry, dishes, repotting plants and cooking supper. We had chicken and noodles with green beans.

    Enjoy your trashy show

I had to buy another pair of tennis shoes yesterday. I need white ones that look nice to go out to eat in. I have been wanting some of the Sketcher's that slip-on but refused to pay that much. They were 40% off so what what else could I do?

All jokes aside, it is getting pretty bad when someone does not want to bend over to put on their shoes. Now that is LAZY!

I also had to mow the yard for the first time this year. I was grateful that the lawnmower cranked up the first time. I should have been cranking it like dad made me do through the winter but it never got what I considered really cold. Oh well, let the yardwork begin!

Started a new book last night and read it til I was sleepy. I went to sleep but could not get comfy and I have been itchy for some reason. I had to take a Benadryl for a couple of nights. Was not quite as bad tonight but still there. I am going to try again to get some sleep after I eat some cantaloupe. I'm hungry but did well on my eating yesterday.

Hope everyone is having a nice night's sleep.

Aww, Rat2. I hope the itching went away and you were able to fall asleep.
I did finally get back to sleep around 5 this morning and got my usual 4 hours sleep. grrrr I may have been over tired last night so I think I will try not to do anything too strenuous.

Because of push mowing my house and all the way outside the fence to my aunts. I got my 10,000 steps. I don't mow at 4 mph so it wasn't as good as the treadmill.

No walking for me this week. Still battling sinus/coughing and I've turned into a mouth breather

French toast/fruit for dinner. Another quick and easy. Just realized Easter is like 2 weeks away. We definitely aren't ready, so no hosting this year. Hopefully we can meet inlaws for breakfast and my mom is going to make dinner at her house.

Hope you all had a lovely day.

    Hi Sara:wub:
I’m sorry you’re still not feeling well :(

We had Popeyes chicken, nothing easier ;)

We’ve never done an Easter dinner but I’ve thought about it.

    Good morning :)

Guess wearing masks for all that time really messed with my immune system. The last two “bugs” have been doozies.

We usually host all the holidays. But with being sick the house has gone to h*ll in a hand basket and I’m really feeling overwhelmed.

Hope everyone has a great day!

I know it will all come together. Thank goodness tomorrow is Friday.

That is what I do on the treadmill because it makes me but when I was walking in TN, it was on rocks and pastures so I just strolled. I don't think it matters the speed, it just does good to get out in the fresh air. It helps me so much.

I am finally getting over whatever it was I had when I left for TN. I had a bad case of chapped lips from being stopped up. It hung on for way too long. I hope you feel better real soon.
