Haha! It will be smelling like something else after you've eaten :p

Oh what fun treats, tonight. I would give anything for one of those cupcakes. Yum! Thank you :)

That's what I get for multitasking. Didn't even finish my sentence. I guess since you worked til 4:30, no nap. :(

Roads were clear  It hit 40 today. I can see the driveway and those steps off the deck again.

The deer aparently decided to lay down in our front yard. There were huge indentations. It was kinda cool, but you couldn't tell when I took a picture.

Course we had snowmobile tracks too :( I'm gonna put down some chicken wire next winter. Totally kidding. But they are coming too close to the septic vents and it worries me. Not to mention they are crossing over the driveway. :nah:

Yep, got home about 5 to warm up a bunch of leftovers from the week. A healthy smorgasbord, yum....not!! Lololol:D
Wise decision not to go, hope they feel better soon.
Oh glad it warmed up!!
Oh no...I can't see the chicken wire idea working out well for you all. If they're injured, it would be on your property...and, besides, it would end up being a young kid, and you'd never forgive yourself.
But geesh, if they hit your septic vent...that wouldn't be good either. :(
My parents and brother had snowmobiles, we rode all over, but never in anyone's yards!
Maybe drive a stake with a flag on it or something...
Can't believe people go through your yard, do you suppose it's people you know, and you just don't realize it's them?

When we first moved out here there were a lot of ATV's running around in our yard, left horrible ruts everywhere ... they even came flying up our driveway and through the back yard! o_O
Think once they realized the people we bought from had moved away they stopped ... either that or they finally grew up

I really would never do that. It's crazy how much bolder they get every year. At first it was the very far corner and not a big deal. But the septic is in the middle of the front yard No, no one we know. Thought about a snow fence next year but worry they would rip it down. Will definitely stake the septic next fall. We are close to the trails. Thought about calling the snowmobile clubs too. I guess sometimes they can put a sign up for you.

I was thinking that also, eventually they will grow up. I suspect it's kids who live on the road.

I'd definitely call the snowmobile club, and the sheriff's office. Maybe they would have some suggestions.
Maybe a "no trespassing sign" as well. Hung up where it can be seen in good weather, so it's not "new", and definitely there when the snow flies again.
There might even be something universal, like a flag or something, that you can hang that tells people that you're not a snowmobile friendly cut through.

Yeah, that's just as bad. :(
There used to be kids with ATV's out at the lake, I think they moved away though. :nun:

Used to scare me when we first moved here since I didn't know what was going on out there
Our place at the lake is on a curve, they would come FLYING down the road, and spin out to turn around and go back the way they came from....every time, they'd throw that little pea gravel into our yard, and stir up dust.
Some were little kids, like 10 years old. No helmet, no protective clothing, etc.
I'd go out and yell at them....didn't care. I'd tell them to stop coming down here, or if they do, ride like they had some sense...if not, I told them I was going to call the sheriff.
Didn't care... ;) I always figured someone's sassy parent would come down, but no one ever did. :)

In your nightmares
Catholics thrilled they’ll be able to eat meat on St. Patrick’s Day | New York Post

"New York Archbishop Timothy Dolan and Diocese of Brooklyn Bishop Nicholas DiMarzio granted the dispensation to their flocks, and Irish eyes were smiling."
I seen that Lori, I decided to stick too no meat friday I have not been to church in a long time because of decisions like that too bend the rules and guidelines.
I'm sorry Joey, that's just all kinds of :(

I *completely* understand...the part I'd left out, was when he said that...I said...oh...we just keep the rules when it's convenient.
I'm Lutheran, so...very similar to Catholic, when it comes to many things, we give up something for Lent (or should), but we eat meat on Fridays during Lent...but yeah, I hear ya. ;)
...and...good for you! :)

I bet! That would be very scary.

Kids go up and down the road here in golf carts, atv's, dirt bikes and snowmobiles. It's very loud out here in the country. ;)

I put no trespassing signs on my shopping list last night to put up this spring and I will definitely get stakes up next fall by the septic. They did it last night while we weren't home. Good thing our propane tank is on the side of the house. That's buried too.

I think whoever it is, was not happy we bought the land, because of the close proximity to the marked trails (just down the road) I know the bare pavement ruins the machine and I have no problems with them using the edge of the property but last night was a little too close for comfort. Had I known about the trails we would have looked for a different piece of property. :(

...nevermind....I was going to add to that, regarding something that was going on within our church, but better to not even talk about it. ;)

Awww, sorry Sara :( Sounds like an aggravating situation for you :(
