Love ya Fran  hope you are having a lovely weekend!!

Another gorgeous day. 70s and sun for now. Kiddo is at Grandma and Papa’s, which means I can float undisturbed. We did have to turn the heater on to warm to 78. Lol Even at 45 I’m still warm-blooded
Love ya back  Enjoy the day,

Momma…you raised your kids!! Grandkids are to enjoy on YOUR time!! If my mom and stepdad need a Sunday to themselves I am 100% for that. We have no expectations! I also know how much they adore him, being the only grandkid; and would never purposely deprive them of time with him. They know as he’s getting older he might not want to come on Sundays and when that time comes everyone will be ok with it.

You have to do what’s right for you!!

It doesn’t mean you love them any less.
Oh I know and I agree, just wasn’t feeling up to being social today. It wasn’t so bad and everyone is gone now.

I haven’t been sleeping well the past week, maybe I’m just tired. Nor have I felt right, not sick just not good.

It was a beautiful day here and we had a Papa John's pizza party at my aunts house. Very good and now I'm very thirsty.

I know all about sleeping issues. My phone said I average 4 hours a day this week. Not enough for even me. I am going to try to go to bed earlier tonight so I can get up and call the doctor in the morning. I think his leg should be looking better than it is and concerned with the swelling. I'll just feel better if a doctor looks at it.

I hope he sleeps all night tonight. Last night he went to bed early and got up at 1:20 am. Got fully dressed and heated up his country ham biscuit I had him for breakfast. He says he knows what time it was but I believe he may have been confused. Not sure. He got undressed at 5 and went back to bed and stayed til 9. Good thing I am up at night and can keep an eye on him.

Tomorrow is another day. Hope everyone has a wonderful start to the week.

I must be feeling nostalgic or something. Last night I watch a movie called Love Rosie, which was from a book called Where Rainbows Ends. Sweet love story. And tonight I watch Ghost with Patrick Swayze. Oh my gosh, that movie came out 32 years ago. Can you believe that? I can remember so clearly when I watched that movie for the first time.

I can also remember when Patrick Swayze died and that has been 13 years ago. And I have been wondering why I have been feeling old lately.

    Oh my! Me too!

Looks like you were up in the middle of the night too :( Sorry your dad is having issues, seeing his doctor might give you a bit of peace of mind.

Hopefully you have a good morning

    Good morning lurkers

I think calling the dr is a good idea, Rat2. We had Italian sausage and pasta salad for dinner. Oh and I made a couple deviled eggs :) But I would never turn down pizza.
    Good morning Sara
A couple of deviled eggs? Is that even possible?:laugh:

My plans of going to bed early did not work out. Dad got up twice and I had to stop him from getting dressed and going back to bed. One time he said that I woke him up and told him to get dressed. I did not. Never have. I so thought the big clock I got him would help with that. It says Good Morning, Good afternoon or Good Evening.

Oh well, I have a 2:40 appointment with his primary doctor. I hope my package from USPS comes before I have to leave because a signature is required. Isn't it sad that this is the first time I have ever got a package that required my signature. I've lived a sheltered life.
