. How long does a case usually last?
It has already been 3 days too long. heehee Usually lasts a couple of weeks. If it lasts longer than that, I go to the doctor for steroids and a cortisone shot. I can easily be cleared up, thank goodness. :thumb:

Ugh I was awake until 3 in the morning
I hope that was because the book was so good.

I get my earbuds tomorrow. That's quick since I just ordered them before I went to sleep. I honestly get the stuff I purchase just as fast as I did when I had a Prime account. And with my extensive wishlist, it only takes two seconds to reach the $25 purchase for free shipping.

Always nice to get things sooner than expected :thumb:
I know what you mean, Prime is pretty much a waste of money.

    Good evening lurkers

I am wiped out. Were you able to get a nap in, Dale? Maybe 2, one for you and one for me

I wholeheartedly agree. She is my baby girl and I would be lost without her. Lol DH on the other hand, that’s up for debate.

Hopefully the itchiness subsides without a dr visit, Rat2.

Soccer tournament this weekend. Always Father’s Day weekend, which is so annoying. 2 games Saturday: 10:30 and 2:15. Blergg. Sunday, just 10:30 unless we make it to the finals. Was hoping kiddo would want to skip with his cold but nope. He does seem to be doing better.

Hope you all have a lovely evening and hopefully we all sleep good tonight.

    Hi Sara
I bet you are tired, at least it’s Friday evening :)
Does not sound like a fun weekend to me.

‘No naps for me, guess 4 hours was enough  Although I’ve dealt with a headache most of the day. Looking forward to bedtime and hoping it won’t be a repeat of last night.

We had another suppertime storm. Real strong winds and rain. Cooled down again after and I finished my walk. I would like it if it did not make me so stiff and sore. Just the joints that move.

Sara, hope the kiddo is feeling better.

Dale, sorry you have had a headache, probably something a good night's sleep could help.

I hope my buds come early so I can charge them up and try them in the shower tomorrow. It takes so little to excite me.

I am going to try to stay off Amazon tonight. Cannot really think of much else I need.

I agree, we all deserve a great night's sleep.

Mom used to put Tincture of Benzoin on her fever blisters. I remember her telling me it would dry them right up. So I got to thinking.

Hmmmm Maybe that would be good on my poison oak.

Well, the good news is yes it has practically stopped my itching. The bad news is that it is an adhesive. I know this to be true after playing Suduko on the toilet and having to peel myself off. The 91% rubbing alcohol removed it from the seat but not me. After Googling, being used in surgical procedures to hold on bandages would have been a handy little piece of information.

Well, at least I am not itching and I am optimistic that the cornstarch is going to make it possible for me to rotate in my slumber.

Just another example of what it is like to be me.

 I’m happy you’re not itching or glued to the toilet but wow! Just wow! Yes that information should have been included on the container :?:

It probably is on newer bottles. This was in an old glass bottle. I don't even think the pharmacies use glass now. They might. Really my fault because I should have read about it. 1 of the three places is itching this morning but methinks I will use Calamine today.

Dad took another fall going to use the bathroom during the night. Luckily, he fell on old 1969 thick shag carpet and did not get a scratch. He says his hip is a little sore this morning but I think it would hurt worse if anything was serious. Bless his heart. As many times as he has fallen, he is so lucky that he has never broken anything.

It is already 81 degrees. I should go walk but I am a little sore this morning too.

    Y'all enjoy your day!

Thank you. He has been very lucky to never have broken anything. Knock on wood. And I guess I have been lucky too because I have been able to get him up. At the end of the day, we all just do the best that we can.

Good evening Dale and lurkers

Sounds likely a nice chill day, Dale. :)

Oh no, Rat2. Glad your dad is ok.

Lost first game, won the 2nd. Took dad to dinner and then stopped off for a cone. Was sunny but rather cool today and the wind has been crazy since Thursday. Makes it feel like fall :?:

    Sweet dreams
