Definitely, Dale. I am not too happy about it being so late. But...when your kiddo is now on one of the older teams, they play later. :( Stinks that he's growing up. I am his #1 fan. I will support him in anything and everything. Won't be too long before the late games are no more. I seriously can't imagine. Where does the time go?

Ooof I thought I liked the cold over the heat but I'm not so sure. I think I hate both equally. LOL!!

Well I can understand since you have to get out in it whether you feel like it or not :(

They do grow up fast and it just gets quicker. Can’t believe both of ours are in their 30’s

Have a good, restful night Sara  I’m signing off.

Microplane cut resistant glove is what I have in my drawer. I always wear it when using the mandolin.
Oh, thank you. I have never heard of those but I know it is something that is in my cart right now.

Yes, you are both right. Men do seem to love meatloaf.

I had a pretty good size piece on his plate and he asked if he could have another piece.

Put garlic, butter, and parmesan cheese on the sprouts and they were rather tasty too. While we were eating the apple strudel baked and we split one of them. They were huge and I will definitely buy them again. I sent the other one home in his to-go bag so I would not eat it. He has supper for tomorrow night.

He asked me if I had any plans Sunday. He said he liked to get out and drive sometimes. So he is taking me to High Rock Lake. It is only 50 miles from here but I have never been there. I know a lot of people go there water skiing. So I get to do something different and I did not have to ask. Yay!

I like going places especially when I am not driving.

He stayed awfully late tonight but that is what happens when you pick Dances With Wolves to watch. It is a long movie. Young Kevin Cosner looked very nice (I had forgotten about his boo-tay scene) but older Cosner gives me much naughtier thoughts.

He kept saying little things like he could fall asleep in about a minute if he lay on the floor. Not sure if he was thinking about an overnight stay. Nope. That's only when I am at the coast. I like sleeping in a king-size bed with my 3 pillows snuggled up. It is so much more comfortable that the other bed I was using which was sixty-some years old. Sheesh!

I am pretty tired so I am thinking I will be a little later going to the gym.

But I will definitely go because they are closed on Sunday.

Hope everyone has a relaxing day. Sara, I hope your son wins his game and the new Mexican place becomes a favorite. I love me some Mexican.

    Good morning Dale

Slept almost 9 hrs and it’s 1 with a real feel of 1. Well at least we are moving in the right direction ;)

I know, it’s just going much too fast. 9th grade is almost over. My parents are at retirement age. My mom did retire but now is working part time for the town. Step dad will be 66. Course that just adds more worry to my brain (lmbo cuz that’s how I roll, a worrier)

Thanks, Rat2. Fingers crossed for a win. Glad your dinner/movie was fun. Sunday sounds like it will be a nice time.

Off to get some cleaning done. Hope everyone has a great day!

Glad you got the extra sleep! I didn’t fare as well.

My dad is in his 80’s and terribly ill so I do understand.

It is so weird but the later I go to bed the sounder I sleep. I know it is because I was on 2nd shift hours for the biggest part of my adult life. It has proven to be quite difficult to adjust my cycle but I still want to. I like getting up early and starting my day. Oh well, I felt refreshed when I woke up so I will take it.

The coffee was good and I got my medications fixed up for the next two weeks so I have already been productive. I am going to work out and then try to do some wash. I did not do any last week or at least judging from the stacks I skipped the week. And you know what the best part about that is? It doesn't matter that I didn't do it. I still have lots of clean clothes and no one is going to fuss at me. I love living alone 99.9% of the time.

    Good afternoon everyone

35f right now melting down the snow. Maybe tomorrow my daughter will fill 1 of her air pods she lost last week while shoveling the driveway
    Good evening Joey
‘Oh no! Won’t it be ruined? :(

I think we hit 45 briefly today, going to be in the 60’s the rest of the week starting tomorrow.

We had KFC tonight since Bela is with us.

Enjoyed my salad tonight and got my clothes washed. I still have a blanket but I think I will wait until I get ready to put it on the bed so it will smell good when I change my sheets.

Just a quiet Saturday night and that's okay with me. I am yawning so I am thinking of reading and going to bed. I don't want to be late for breakfast.

    Good morning Dale

Was enjoying your lovely breakfast and took a trip down memory lane with the tube of toothpast/plate experiment I did with kiddo. Very wise quotes!

Well it was a win but not a very enjoyable game with the exception of watching kiddo. 1.) it was too dang cold inside the complex and 2.) the teams weren’t evenly matched. They stopped counting goals after the first six, so 6-0. I actually started rooting for the other team (in my head of course)

Everyone’s dinners sounded great. I had a handful of cheezits, wasn’t very hungry. The boys had leftover lasagna.
