They have to order the meds but maybe they will come in tomorrow. I think it will make a difference.

I had another busy day. Had a good workout and came home and had another good workout by push-mowing the front yard and trimming everywhere. I do not want to have to get close to anything cause I still forget about that darn canopy. I may just take it off. We bought it for Dad because he was fair-skinned and he has always had lots of skin cancers.

Trimmed a couple of bushes, edged the driveway, blew out the gutters (all that pollen), and blew off the driveway. I had a barrel full of twigs and sticks. The wind calmed down enough late afternoon to get that burned up. I was busy as a

Just had my shower and boy did I need it. Now if I can get my hair dried, I will be finished for the day.

It seems like I am always the last to say good morning to everyone and the last one to post at night. I dislike last place because everyone knows only the lead dog smells victory.

I don't know why I think that is so funny probably because it is true if you think about it.

I am moving rather slo-mo this morning. I guess because I have been so busy lately. I like staying busy. If I keep my hands and mind occupied, I don't get into nearly as much trouble. heehee

I still have more bushes to trim. I figure by the time I finally finish, it will be time to start on them again. What a vicious circle. Instead of the high maintenance Boxwoods that are shaped like a big ball, I am thinking it would be easier if I just cut them back to the ground and let the come out naturally. I wonder if that would kill them. I want as close to a no-maintenance yard as I can get. And I still am considering the goats. heehee

I hope Sam's gets my medicine today. Of course, they had to order it. She is putting me on the same dosage of ArmourThyroid that I was on for 19 years with no issues. I will go back for one more blood test to be sure but I am thinking this is going to make a big difference.

They are calling for 4 days of rain starting late tonight so I better giddyup on getting that yard mowed today. It really needs it badly now.

Happy Thursday all.

Good morning Dale, Sara and Rat2

Moving slow today just trying to take it easy. We picked up all the all the big sticks in the back yard yesterday, still have the front yard to do which is way less. Next will be mowing the back yard. Told my daughter if she doesn't start helping more around this big house it will go on the market and we will buy a smaller house.

I‘m sorry to hear that your new home is already feeling overwhelming :( Although if it’s just you and Christina maybe it’s too much for you  Might be hard to get rid of it though with the economy like it is :(

I have time to wait it out to see if she responds to what I said to her before I test the market with this house. Hopefully I don't wind up underwater with it and be forced to stay here.

We never got everything unpacked after we moved in, the older girls were supposed to help with that!! They did not help and while I was working 60 a week even more responsibility was dumped on me when they did not help with basic things like cooking and cleaning. I don't feel bad about kicking them out at all since I am doing all the work and why should they benefit from it!!!

Hope not, that would be distressing :(

Can’t blame you for feeling that way about the girls. Too bad it worked out like that :(

Good evening y’all, we just finished supper. BBQ ribs and salad.

Good morning Sara, Dale and lurkers

My elbow swelled up a little bit last night, made it uncomfortable to sleep. Pain kicked up a notch also, better this morning so far. Need to get a big bag of ice, my ice maker is slow in my fridge
Can’t say I’m terribly surprised after the yard work you did, sorry you’re in pain though :(

Nah not from that I didn't use that arm to pick anything up. I had it in a arm sling so I wouldn't use it. Still have swelling, I'm pretty sure it is the nerve that is the problem. Just resting today trying to stay on top of the pain with tylenol. I refuse to take the drugs they gave me I don't like opiods.

Yes I remember you saying that about opioids. Still think the bending you had to do has something to do with it.

I was so very busy yesterday trying to get the yard mowed before the rain today. It was so high I had to mow it high then lower the blade and mowed it the second time. I got the 14 Boxwoods done on the front of the house. But I am going to have to wait to do the other 22. I don't think my hands can take it right now. They do not look as good as my dad used to have them but I did the best I could. I think they look better being smaller.

Sam's did not get my meds in today but I started the right dosage anyway. Since she was doubling my dosage, I just took two today. I have enough to last several days.

Sharon (Terry's sister) text me today and her husband Kenny had a heart attack yesterday. They put in his 6th stent. Bless his sweet heart. He has had heart issues for a long time. I think his first attack was when he was 50. If I feel better tomorrow, I should try to take them supper or do something for them.

The Tropical Hibiscus and the Calla Lily are both blooming on the back porch and it just makes me happy. I think when it gets warmer, I will just take my laptop out there and sit. I do not turn the tv on during the day so that is not an issue. I usually have the radio playing music if I am home.

We have had some rain today and thunderstorms this evening. I just fixed some cream of chicken soup that I added ready rice and grilled chicken I was going to put over my salad. It was pretty good and something warm felt good to me.

Until last year, I have never had seasonal allergies. After spending two days doing yard work and blowing out the gutters, I am having issues again this year. Weird how all of a sudden you develop allergies. My eyes have been so itchy. I am going to wear my glasses for a few days instead of my contacts.

Well, that is all that is new here. Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend. Since it is supposed to rain, I am just going to take it easy.

    Hugs to all!
