    Good evening lurkers

LOL Dale :) I’m sorry the allergies are really bad. I’m feeling it again behind my eyes. Ugh! Might take a Benadryl before bed and see if that helps.

Hope everyone had a good day!
    Good evening Sara
Yeah I’ve taken Benadryl a couple of times already, have to be careful though since I’m on daily medication for allergies. Doesn’t work all that great but it’s the only thing available that doesn’t mess with my blood pressure

Guess I had a decent day, a little boring.

I was ready for the window man all morning. I waited patiently until 2:00. I then called and found out the appt. was made for May 19th. I told her a man called me two days ago and told me he would let me know what time. I asked her if they did that a month in advance. She started chuckling and said she saw where he called me and evidently he was confused about the date also.

Oh well, the window has been like that for 13 years, I don't think another month will bother me. Instead of being upset, I just laughed about it. And it kept me from working around the house getting sweaty.

At least until I got home from the gym and started back to hiding stuff behind the storage building. heehee The yard is starting to look nice methinks.

Tomorrow I plan on doing all the trim work. I might even get around to doing the riding part and edging. If not, there is always Friday. I just like the yard looking nice for the weekend. I am not sure why, it's not like I am having company.

But if something exciting does happen (it could, fingers crossed), my yard will look marvelous.

    Good morning lurkers

I remembered when it was too late to take it, so I skipped.

Ohh Rat2, that stinks about the mixup.

Hope everyone has a good day!
    Good morning Sara

Ugh! I wouldn’t have been able to laugh it off like you do, I despise waiting for service people.
‘’Whatever you decide to do today I hope you enjoy it

Good morning Dale, Sara and Rat2

Not much going on here, elbow is healing slowly and still giving pain from the surgery. Nothing to be concerned with right now. I need someone to cook and clean dishes my daughter doesn't help much with those things. She thinks I'm superman

    Good evening everyone

Aww, Joey. I really wish she’d help you a bit more too. Kids are turds sometimes.

It was actually a very nice Thursday, Dale. I was pleasantly surprised. Even went for a walk with a co worker on one of my breaks.

We had homemade kfc bowls for dinner and I’m about ready for bed.

    Sweet dreams

    Good evening Dale

Last day in the 70s until May so we are grilling steak/chicken. I have some sweet potatoes roasting in the oven and I sautéed some mushrooms to go with the meat.

Awww sounds like a great way to spend Sunday :)
    Hi Sara
Yum! I love baked sweet potatoes!

Eh parties aren’t really my thing but for a grand child I’ll do it ;) With my hearing like it is I’m basically just sitting there watching.

I was so busy yesterday. I was at the gym at 7 and then came home and decided to do all the yard work so I wouldn't spend 2 days like I did last time. So I did all the trim work, mowing, edging, blowing, and weed eating. It was a bit much but it sure was nice when it was done. It is sort of nice to work that hard and when you are finished, you see all that you accomplished.

I did the gym and treated myself to a Slushie before I did a little grocery shopping. Came home and decided to spray some weed killer. I have read so many bad things about RoundUp and I hated it when Dad used it. Well, I found a brand new bottle of it in the garage and I just cannot let it go to waste so I used it. I will be glad when it is gone though. I really do not like all those chemicals.

Friday night and here I sit. I don't even have enough wash to make a full load.

We are supposed to have thunderstorms tomorrow but clear up after noon. We will get just enough rain to make that darn grass grow.

I had grilled chicken, lettuce and tomato rolled up in wheat flatbread. It was not bad. It was the first time I've bought flatbread. Since I do not eat bread often, I had not noticed how expensive bread has gotten. I guess everything has. I am glad I am only having to feed 1. I feel sorry for the families especially how much healthy growing kiddos consume. Sheesh!

I have nothing planned for the weekend but maybe something exciting will happen. If not, it might just be nice to relax since I have been working so hard this week.

Sleep well all and have a great weekend.
