That was me on Sunday, I tossed and turned and was awake most of the night. I was so tired on Monday but I forced myself to stay awake til 8 and then I went to bed. Slept 9 hours. Felt so much better on Tuesday.

Well, the remnants of hurricane Beryl finally made its way here to WNY. We were under a tornado watch all day (cancelled now) and apparently a couple did touch down but not near us, thank goodness. I'm glad that's passed by.

We had several tornado warnings last night but just got rain so all good here.I may be heading to bed around 8 tonight if I don’t get a second wind, feeling mighty tired at the moment.

Good afternoon all. I have been busy again! At the last minute, Perry asked me to go to Goldsboro (93 miles away) because he had to take something to be bored at a machine shop. Of course, I said sure. I'll do or go anywhere.
They did not get finished so we had to spend the night. Perry made a few new friends and I liked them also. They paid for my lunch one day which I thought was nice.
Today, Perry went back to work and left me here at his house. I've done two loads of clothes (mostly mine) and I have 5 lbs of London Broil in the dehydrator. The house smells delicious. I love his jerky and now I know how to make it.
We stopped by an audio store to see one of his friends on the way back. I love listening to music just as much as the next one but I was shocked to see how much speakers cost. Anywhere from $14,000 to $150,000 per speaker. Sheesh! Perry brought his Bose radio to my house and it sounds wonderful and that is all I need. Perry is big into stereo systems and that is what is going in the room that I just finished helping him do the floor. I can't imagine what his music is going to sound like.
Feels like rain to me and it is a cloudy day. Perry has offered to drive me to TN two weekends in a row to pick up the rest of Ken's possessions. I could not have gotten them back by myself because I have never pulled a trailer or a camper. I think Perry must like me a lot to offer to drive a total of 34 hours. So I think I am leaving for TN tomorrow morning. We will just stay overnight and head back. I can't help but be a little sad. I still miss Ken and Perry understands that because he was Ken's friend also.
