I think its a great idea to get the pheonixes regardless of whether you like the fluxos or not

But if you're doing it because you're convinced its the path to an out of the box perfect experience I suggest you take a head count of the out of the box success rate in this thread, and in the phoenix thread. You'll be not surprised to find that they're pretty much equal.

bigpman, I don't mean to be a party pooper, but if you want clearos, you're going to have to mod eventually, its the nature of the beast. people that use clearos and love them are generally at least somewhat into modding things, its not a coincidence. Its the nature of crappy overseas quality control :( You just have to decide whats worse, a short lived learning curve, or inhaling burnt polyfill

P.S. I really do not want to mod anything either, I just want it to work out of the box. I am willing to give the Phoenix a chance, but if that doesn't work I am going back to the resurrectors.

You sound like some of my friends. I have been trying to get them to give up analogs completely. When they need a carto, they ask me for them. I mod them and give them to them. One of these heads just stopped by to get the run down on phoenixes. I went out earlier and got him the perfect pair of pliers. Showed him how to pull the post on the cart, which you don't need to do on all of them. He looked at me and said "I can do that." This dude can't even hang a picture without help. I was huge fan of the ce2, I didn't even show him the supreme. Try the phoenix.

If anyone has gotten rid of the silicon nipple, replaced it with a flat seal, and fluffed their wicks properly, and given it at least a full fill up/vape, and still having issues, please get at me, I want to help, PM or in here.

I swear by these things, and almost take it personally when they don't work for people. I've spent a few months tearing them apart and rebuilding them in every which way, I'd probably go back to analogs without them lol.

I'm with you on this one. I find it doesn't take much to get these to work well.

It's not that I couldn't mod if i wanted to, I already took the supreme apart... I would just prefer them to work out of box, like they should. I am not disappointed with the supreme but i am not 100% happy either. Biggest issues are:

1. Juice in mouth when it goes below half (like already mentioned)

2. Muted taste compared to resurrectors, IMHO.

3. I don't see the silicon plug to last many times of removal, it already has tears along the sides.

OK the first one had a bad coil I moded the silicone cap as pictured in the prior posts no leaking no gurgling no juice in my mouth no muted flavor I can say that the 6 I have in rotation are as good as any ce2 I have had with the added ability to lay them on there sides with no leaks as long as you trim the wick slots wider not longer ,and trim out that ring on the under side . The only thing I don't like about these is I have not been able to fill with out a syringe but that is simple enough if you go down one of the flat sides not poke it threw the little hole in the silicone. And to clean them pull the tube off the bottom clean like a regular ce2 dry burn put the silicone cap back on the cup and insert it in the tube and push it into place its that simple . I guess I've been modding so long it only takes 1 min to fill and 5 to clean dry burn and and vape the same carto this isn't rocket science sure you'll scrap a few playing with them but that's the nature of the beast sure I would like an out of the box experience but these are not that bad as someone said these and the phoenix are about even with each having their problems .

I agree with you. I've been using CE2s exclusively for the last 2 or 3 versions. I've modded them every which way, to the point that I don't even think about it. I often tell my vaping friends, they're not for everybody. If you're not willing to do a little modding, they're probably not for you. But once you get them set up, they vape like nothing else.

The amber bottle is what I use but I haven't got one to fill with a droper yet tube is tight can barely get a blunt needle down one side . I have one of those bottles Chris sent with the c8 haven't tryed it yet though

The Eye Dropper Doesn't need to fit Inbetween the Cup and the Tube.

I just tilt the Carto at about 45 Dregrees and put the tip of the Eye Dropper in the Gap of the Cup and the Inside of the Tube.

Make sure you don't lift the Eye Dropper. It needs to be in contact with the Cup/Tube. And go Slow.

I haven't had any filling issues because I did a perfect mod on the nipple seals:

1) walk to the kitchen

2) open the cabinet under the sink

3) find the garbage can

4) throw it out
But than they leak bro if I'm out and about I just fill 2 or 3 and put them in my pocket and go no leaky ;)
