You won't regret it the purchase! I just got mine yesterday and I'm loving them!

I am still waiting on the order to be fulfilled. I don't mind waiting, but I'd rather a hardware order -- at least something as simple as attys -- to be fulfilled a little bit faster. If these things work like I hope, I wouldn't mind waiting weeks! And if they are the bomb-diggy, I will immediately reorder more!!!!!

This thing hits pretty hard. It also seems to be quite effective at nic delviery. I had jut been vaping this 32 mg out of another atty but this one makes the 32 feel like 32, ya' dig?

It is nice to have a product deliver the same way the video review shows! Sometimes I could swear that the reviewer has got a different product. Thanks AG.

Yah I dig... these hit best when new and imo keep up their performance for a good while.
Usually mine need a vodka soak and blow after about of week of heavy vaping...
I usually kill mine in 2 weeks though... all my conventional atomizers bite the dust soon enough.

I seem to see that they are out of 1.5 AMG B/F Hybrids at the moment.

I got the 2.0 ohms and they (well, one at least) is checking in at 1.9 ohms -- it's close enough. I clean my attys with the Want2Vape atty refresher and it works like a charm. How much do you vape? I am not what I would call a heavy vaper, so I should be able to rock this joint for about a month, hopefully.

This atty is giving me an average TH which is fine (as long as it isn't below avergage), but the realy interesting thing is it is giving me a pretty intense head rush. I seriously just took a long drag and stood up, only to have to sit back down for a second. The reason I didn't like genesis draws is because, while I don't like to draw hard, I do like to draw. Those things require nothing but breathing in. However, they also have incredible nic delivery and pretty intense head rush capabilities -- this atty is kind of a sweet marriage between the two.

Question: do the rest of you get a super stiff feel at first button press? It's as if it takes a second (only a second) to get going. It's not a problem whatsoever, I am just curious.

My initial impression is this is a strong 8 out of 10. This is way better than most, even some of the [clears throat] $20 plus attys.

In my question about the "stiffness" of the initial draw, I realized that is a mere byproduct of the drip shield. I have also found that this atty is not the best with all the flavors that I have -- of course, no atty ever is. It's kinda cool, cause every juice that wasn't great in my other attys are great in this one. It does, what IMO, some genesis types do, in that it amplifies certain aspect of a juice which can either be completely awesome or not. At least now the juices that I had that weren't performing great in my other attys now have a JDS that will let them shine.

Do the shifus require a break-in?

yes. They get better and better.

Yes, it was time it got it's own topic, only people who knew how great they were were inside the VmodXL topic that's been running for umpteen months, but people who don't have or want a vmod would not have bothered to look there.

Guess the secret is out now. :)

I really don't like atties with juice w/high PG. Instead of sitting on the coil and vaporizing, those juices tend to "steam". At least, that has been my experience.

Since I am high VG person, dripping to atty seems like the perfect way to go.

I like how easy it is to use... of course the best vapes are with jussst the right amount of juice in there, but this has a wider range of good performance with more or less juice, than the $22 ones in my experience.... that's my gripe about the expensive ones - if i put the slightest bit too much it's a PIA.
Flavorwise, imo, it's just about up there with the best including rba's, but it also depends on good juice.

I agree with you. Finding the right amount of juice should not be so tricky. After all, after a few draws, the juice will not be at the same level anyway, so you always have to be "right". With these, there is a lot more play and IMO, that makes them better. I like how we can just refer to a price range and we don't even have to name the other atty. LOL

I have been telling peeps about these every chance i get... for a while.
Skinny and Vapage have to order these in volume and they haven't even moved the old stock Uni's out yet so they may never get new spec on the Uni.
Vapage is best known for the Vmod as far as I know, and these just don't get much notice... they don't even come in the Vmond as far as I know.
The 1.5's were out of stock last i looked though.

I've been through about 8 1.5's and have them on 3 or 4 different devices (2 bottom feeders). They are b/f but are fine for dripping as long as you don't overfeed much.

If you look this thread is only 2 pages.... the Vmod thread is where these first came up, but man these atomizers should be integral to any dripping discussion...

- as good as the $22 ones are, and as well known as they are in the vaping world, their thread is pretty small too.

Most folks are buzzing about rba's and for good reason, but these haven't gotten their due...

I was a dripper from the start, and dripped for about a year. One day I decided to step up my game and try a carto. When tanks hit the market big time, I resisted, as I didn't like the look! (yeah, welp, THAT passed. LOL) So tanking cartos seemed to be the way to go. Of course I had to jump on the gene game, too. (and THAT passed as well!) At this point, for a really lovely oh-so-relaxing vape session, I will always go back to my roots and drip.

Finding the Shifu spec was the frosting on the cake. I've been using them (and also prefer the 2.0Ω) since mid-July and they have been flawless. I also own the "22s" and definitely see that the Shifu has given that a run for its money. They are, by far, one of the least disappointing vape gear purchases that I have discovered.

Think I'll go grab another coffee, stare at the geese flying overhead on their way to Mexico, and vape my kickass little slant coil. ;)

Golden as always!

p.s. I snagged one of the last 30s of it. :2cool:

Totally agree with everything everyone has been saying about these atties. They were the last thing I needed to bring my VMod experience right up there where I dreamt it should be. :D Absolutely love these for their performance, TH and flavor - best I've ever had. And the price is certainly oh-so-reasonable!!

I ordered a pack of 1.5 and a pack of 2.0 from Vapage.com last week and received them in a few days...

(copy & paste of my order below):
•1 of : Vapage AMG Hybrid Atomizer Universal 1.5ohm
$17.98 Shipped
•1 of : Vapage AMG Hybrid Atomizer Universal2.0ohm
$17.98 Shipped
The label on the packs I received read "AMG Hyrbrid Bottom Feeder 1.5 ohm and the other is AMG Hybrid Bottom Feeder 2.0 ohm Not sure if it matters that I ordered one thing and received the other :?:

However, only 1 of them barely screws into my ego twist battery, very poor fit, the other 3 are just too small
It's as if the threads are for some other device. . . my bad for assuming they would fit my batteries

I've been happily satisfied with using a few LR 510 and LR 306 atty's for dripping but thought I'd give these a try too because I've seen good reviews :glare: :(

I email vapage with my question about why don't they fit, and their reply to me was one sentence: "I'm sorry they do not fit the batteries."
So I email back and ask " Aren't they supposed to fit my ego battery?" "What does universal mean?"

No reponse in 2 days.

definitely should fit the ego (albeit twist)... maybe the twist has some slight difference but since you haven't sent them back, which you should, just an fwiw:
1.keep on them and send them back since apparently they are not truly "universal"
2. the Uni's are NOT the "new spec" slant coil design yet.. these must be pretty old stock as they say they will be replaced with "new spec" when they deplete stock; as of many many moons ago.
3. don't give up... i have not found a device the Hybrid AMG b/f (bottom feed, but i use them on everything) will not fit on, and they are simply KILLER atomizers for the price. I suggest you try these... in fact i have one on my ego 18650 batt now...and my Reo's.
