Received the new rebuildable part and notice that the tool included doesnt fit inside the springs. It doesnt even fit inside the channels of the rebuildable part. What is the inside diameter of the springs to see if I have one that fits.
I received mine today as well, (thanks Jesse, the hand written note was a nice touch) and the brass rod seems to do nothing in particular. As a work around I found a drill bit in my extensive misc. collection that would fit snug in the channels to assemble the unit. I disassembled everything for an ultrasound cleaning prior to use.

According to one of Imeos video the brass axis is for adjusting the housing liquid channel with the springomize during assembling, and not for the spring.

That's correct, however just like several other people (I guess) I believe a smaller diameter tool could be used to adjust the housing, AND install the spring... That was my first thought.
No biggies for me, I've a coiling tool with several diameter sections I use for all purposes :)

Dont use the axis to put spring inside channels Nandy. It will not work. Use a very thin screwdriver, something like 1,5mm.

The internal diameter of spring is 2,9mm

My initial impressions, I have to agree with previous posters regarding muted flavor. I typically run .2-.3 Ohms at 30 watts and was able to set this up to match my normal build, but the flavor isn't as pronounced. I will need to experiment with wick density to find the sweet spot, but i fear it wont match the flavor of my normal chimney builds. I will give it a 5 star rating for ease of build, and if for no other reason I will likely continue to use this regularly. I just have to relearn that balance between wicking and flooding.
Cut totally flush the wick and use the above method in my new video Dark. Its a different vape. Design of Tilemahos allow us to do more things

Well, my first setup, 0.82 ohms. Don't know if I'm lucky or what but the flavor is superb. The easy of building is incredible. Love the airy draw. vaping with the GG4S.

Did I said it is incredibly easy to build??

The flavor gets muted as I see it on very low resistances Nandy. Thats why I made the second video :)

Got my springomizers from FMS today. I must I am thoroughly impressed, once again, Imeo. Way to go! This is a real innovation.
I put the center post extension from the 23mm ggts base kit on the 2.5mm rebuildable part, put some rayon thru the coil, juiced it up and vaped away.
WOW! I would have been happy if nothing had changed except it was easier to coil but instead it also has better flavor than my kanthal build I just switched from. I am not saying this to be contrary to all those who are noticing a lack of flavor. In fact I hope everyone is able to experience this full, flavorful vape.
THANKS and GOOD JOB IMEO!

I got mine today as well. After destroying 2 springs I got my last one working. First one I took out and tried to stretch to lower resistance and when I put it back in somehow I crushed half of the spring. The second one lost it's springiness after I fired it and I mangled fiddling. The third I put in and left it how it was.

I have to say now that I have it up and working it is great. Flavor is fantastic draw is about perfect. I am sure it is probably just my big fingers but I think a thicker diameter wire in the spring would solve my 2 problems. 1 lower resistance so I wouldn't have to stretch the spring for less wraps and 2 thicker wire would be more durable. Also I can't wait to get a Ti spring so I can temp limit.

Now I just have to wait for FMS to get more springs and a clear tank or 2 (accidentally rolled over my tank when I was cleaning it today sigh)

Got my Springomizer in the mail, can't wait to make a build later tonight!

Quick question, though.. one of the posts is slightly above the housing (about half a millimeter) - will this touch the mouthpiece when screwed in, and/or cause any issues? Just wanted to make sure.. I forgot to check which post it was (positive or negative) but I'm sure it's whatever side touches the metal anyway, just figure'd I'd point that out!

I usually do a 1ohm microcoil with 28g wire.. I'm wondering how much I will have to stretch my spring. I like a fast heat-up time, never played with SS wire before so I will have to experiment. What are some spring setups you guys enjoy on this? Might be hard to count how many wraps are between the posts but I am curious to see what you guys are doing with yours, at least those without VV devices (I am using Esterigon)

I also have been using Japanese cotton which I found I liked more than Rayon, but I'm sure that will wick just fine.. anyone else use this in their springomizer?

Thanks Imeo! Can't wait to experiment with this!

I usually like a 0.75 - 0.8Ω spaced coil. My springomizer came setup and metered out at 0.9Ω, so I went with it. Its a little cool for my taste. I will have to lose a wrap or two. This leads me to an amazing moment - I can modify my coil after I give it a try - no rewrap needed. NICE!

My springomizer should arrive today, waiting for $%&/# FedEx &$#"#%, they supposedly would deliver the package yesterday, then they changed the delivery for today.

I can wait to try it !

Now the question is, what should I do with the old system rebuildable parts? :D

be well buddy:)

If one of the posts is slightly longer, please check the whole springomizer if it fits well to the base (meaning check the center post if it goes straignt via 510 connector. If not, then the posts are not placed to the right position and you have to unscrew the center post extension, put well the posts inside the housing and then scrtew again the center post extension

Is there any chance of getting a slightly taller Tilemahos tank and mouthpiece I suppose... By slightly taller, I mean 6 or 8 mm... Clear tank too...
The reason I ask in this particular thread, is that initially I never really got on with the atomiser - but thought I'd give the springomiser a try. I'd previously found the flavour and vapour to be very muted and I rarely used it.
But, since the springomiser, and watching the videos more that once, flavour is now superb, though vapour is still a little muted (might be my juice).
Anyway - I now love my Tilemahos, but am finding that my 21 mm V1 doesn't hold enough juice. It sits on my Esterigon, waiting for VIR, after which even more I'll be wanting more juice capacity. So - the only way is up!
A taller tank will sort that out...
