Underwear...what's underwear? You are using it for what? said the blonde

Kimmie ...

Underwear is meant to be worn under pants, dresses, skirts, shorts, etc... I know many woman don't like to follow this rule, but in general, its best to wear some britches ... :D

...said the brunette man with full locks of hair...

LOL ...

I didn't want to cut up a shirt, so I grabbed a CLEAN par of undies to cut up and test with. I didn't use the cutouts long enough to notice a difference, but now that Dirk has had such great success as well, I may just have to give it another go!

We need a picture Dirk !!!! Help us noobies out please :D

This covering the cartridge filler makes sense to me. However, I imagine it to be quite time consuming stuffing the edges of the material around the cartridge filler and getting a nice smooth covering. Kind of like making a tiny round bed! Do you think you could bounce a tiny nickel on it? Also, does it affect the topping-off-with-e-liquid procedure?

Actually, if you have tweezers it's not too bad :):

Yeah it does (on the 901, not so much with the penstyle), the liquid does not flow so easily through the cotton to the filler. Here are some more pics after dripping on a classic and mini cart, you see that the mini is 'coated' and doesn't absorb the liquid that well:

I mostly use my 901, and drip one or two drops before each use (gives me one cig worth of puffs). I have been using the same cart for a week now without problems, and feel good about not inhaling those burnt fibers any more... :D

Dirk,

Wonder if anyone has tried just using a wick for like a kerosene heater or lamp as filler for the carts? Since it absorbs the kerosene and looks to be made of some type of cotton it might work. I am new to all of this, so I really don't know, but I thought since you were experimenting you might have tried it!

What about using the same metal wool used in the atomizer?

There was a thread on the nl forums about this. He was using knitted stainless steel mesh. Apparently it worked quite well, but it's hard to get in small quantities, and you would want to try a range of gauges to find out which had the best capillary action for a cartridge.

If it works as well as I'd imagine, it's definitely something we should all look into.
