Currently trying out a titanium coil 0,4mm from the vapemesh company, cleaned it before installing came out on 0.359 on lemo 2 in my ipv d2, tried alot, settled for 400F & 28J .. and I must say I am blown away
But as I read you can go much higher then 400F ?

That is the Crazy Wire I am using also from Vape Mesh. You really can't beat their price but since I am in the US the shipping was a bit much but I ordered 2 so with shipping it was almost exactly the same price as Unkamen. You can go as high as you like up to the temp limit on the device. It's all personal preference.
That said, if your juice has a lot of PG, around 400F will likely yield the best results. If you have thicker, higher VG liquid, up around the 450-500F range tends to work better.

@soulseek looks good! What gauges did you use? I finally got my dual claptons to fire right on Ni200 mode, the ramp up time on Ti mode in the SXM is way too long IMO.

29g and 26g respectively...0.29mm and 0.4mm, I'm not sure what these translate into gauge size. I'm using this on my DNA200, which is why it performs so nicely.
cricque,
Could you narrow down "much higher than 400F". What do you mean by much higher?
Well I meant in temperature, I know my ipv mini d2 can go alot higher. But I cleaned my titanium etc and the vape is really smooth, just am looking for the max safe range of titanium. I know cotton can burn at 420+

The IPV D2 won't allow you to burn the cotton in TC mode, no matter if you set it to 600F. A lot of the chips now are doing this.
Is this with a dry cotton test or when wet?
Both. You can test it yourself. Somehow the chip realizes when the coil is dry and will cut power. It's not like the DNA-40 which would always fire at the set temp no matter if the coil was dry or not. I believe the SX Mini M class was the first board that did this.
Yes, true enough. Just curious about the D2. Now I wonder about the Apollo Reliant, a re-spec'd sxk chip. Anyway, I guess what's happening is when the fire button is depressed and the timer is started the chip checks the speed of res increase against the tcr setting and shuts off power if the res is increasing too fast for that tcr. I wish none of the tc mods did this so we could check temp accuracy with the dry cotton 420°f test. There is the boiling water 212°f test but that temp isn't even close to our vaping temps. Of course the D2 has nonadjustable tcr, but it would be nice to be able to run the dry cotton test in the event we run a different wire like 430 Stainless or NiFe52 in Ti mode. That way we would at least know what the temp offset is.
