I'm not trying to add fuel to the fire but you are incorrect.

When you boil water you create vapor yet do not ignite the water. coffee makers make vapor but don't ignite the coffee (or the water).

I guess that crackling noise and the word's "burnt" atty or carto are just my imagination ..

Since, without a doubt, high enough heat is generated to actually burn fiber / filler, I call that ignition .. I've taken apart cartos that tasted bad and seen burnt spots ..

If you are making your mac & cheese on the stove, and let the water completely VAPORIZE away and continue to add heat, then yes, eventually with enough added heat, the macaroni will ignite. But until that happens, the water itself does NOT SMOKE. IT DOES NOT IGNITE. IT DOES NOT COMBUST IS ANY WAY.

Why do I feel like we are talking to a wall?

The crackling you hear is the rapid conversion of the liquid to vapor (steam), just like the crackling you hear from a fireplace. The burnt taste you get from a carto is the filler being scorched. This is not the ignition of the ejuice. This is why ecigs can rightfully be banned from areas with explosion hazards.

At the most you are igniting/or combusting the filler material in a carto by improper usage of your device. These little point DO matter when the courts get involved. Technicalities are everything in the legal system.

Used properly there is zero ignition. I can't believe I had to type that.

I like how some say that when confronted "its not smoke, it doesnt bother anyone." apparently its bothering the person your speaking to. Its odd and alarming to some. No you shouldn't have to be responsible for the ignorance of others, but be considerate. Its unnecessary to constantly vape, you cant make it thru the store? why not? acceptable or not, its about courtesy. Running around like a thick headed American doing as you please cause you can, wont help us out in the long run. Maybe free vapin will be more acceptable in time, but as for now... this is to new, give it time to sink in.

I would never bust out my e-cig in a k-mart or the middle of a mall or something. Sure I've been tempted after 2 hours in a wal-mart and I'm only as far as aisle 4, but still, it just doesn't make sense. I started vaping because it's generally assumed that it's healthier, and pays for itself after a few months (which it does, unless you go and buy several blu kits or mods in those months).

Now that said, I have vaped in Home Depot outside garden, or the restroom, and I have been really tempted to take a couple puffs inside movie theaters (transformers 3 is a LOOOOONG movie) or in a restaurant. I don't see why the ignorance of others should penalize us. The exhale product actually smells quite good and it's harmless. The only thing holding us back is the fact that it LOOKS like we're exhaling smoke. A fact that most of us really like and will eventually be our downfall. How dare that person blow out smoke and then say that it's harmless???

That's why we need a reasonably good juice/atty combination that tastes and feels like we're hitting some 24mg dekang, but not produce vapor. You know, for those days when you're in the movie theater and you really just want to take a monster vape during the scene with Rosie Wheatley's ... in it; without getting into an argument and missing the eye candy.

On the other hand, we also need a general public that can tell the difference between a GLV with a stainless carto, or even a 510 with a manual pushbutton, and notice that the vapor.... DOESN'T SMELL like smoke before they try to woft it away and cough.

I saw that movie. I vaped and just exhaled the vapor in my shirt. no one saw a thing.

Would it not be that, a heating element touches a material and when such material is wet and gets hot enough that it creates a vapor, if such material is not kept wet enough said material could an in fact does burn by the heating element igniting that material.

If one was to vape a cart that dry, that taste would be horrible. I dont think many people would do that.
