I saw this thread before I went to work last night and read a post or two. Come back and I'm through page 14 with still more to go. I'm new to the forum but have been vaping for over a year on and off. I would actually like to kick my analog habit and that was the main reason why I started vaping in the beginning. I started with an eGo starter kit (650 mAh battery and stardust clearo) and it was not the same. I went back to the B&M's to try to make it better, only suggestion was to buy a VV/VW. I finally got an MVP2 2 months ago and I love it, but it still isn't doing it for me. I have tried Kranger PT II, they leak like crazy but I saw where I could rebuild them so maybe it could bring my cost down. Seen where others rave about RBA's and actually have one on order, can't wait to try it. Thanks to Battiude and his 3 page blog on battery safety, I know why I should wait. Going to try to rebuild PT and Aspire DBC first before venturing to an RBA, and then re-read the blog about battery safety before I do a mech mod, if I even get that far. I guess I'll admit I'm a cloud chaser but only because the eGo didn't do it for me, but after reading the battery blog, not too sure about extreme sub-ohm vaping any more. I just want to find something that I like and works for me. Thanks to this forum, I learned more than I though I needed to know before jumping into the waters! Just wanted to say thanks to all that post and help the community by educating instead of being one-upper's. If it wasn't for you, I might have blown my face off in the next month or two!
I forgot to add that I still need a multi-meter before I actually start rebuilding so I can check the coils to ensure safety. Will be getting that soon.
