I got my General dry mini mints from getsnus.com last week and I finally got around to trying it while I went on vacation. I have to say "wow" it's potent stuff. I was really glad that I went with the mini mints. Felt like I had a bunch of tic tacs in my mouth which was quite refreshing. It took a few tries to really get used to them though. The first two portions i used I could only keep in my mouth for no more than 15 minutes. I still got quite a blast of nicotine from them and I had to becareful since I didn't time my vaping properly and I ended up overloading my body on nicotine. On the third day of using it, I felt a lot better and kept the portions in my mouth for exactly 30 minutes.

Very good stuff. I have a portion right now in my mouth at work since I have been busy with a lot of clients and have had no time to vape almost the whole day.

I was wondering how you were doing with the snus Rexa. Glad to hear it is working for you = )

I'm shocked to hear that a mini is so powerful for you all. I quit smoking analogs with snus and there were times that I needed a super strong 12mg to get me over the "i need a analog now!" feeling.
My first week I used a lot of reg portions. My second week was a mix of regular and strong portions. After the second week, it was rare that I ever thought of an analog again and that continues to this day, I'm thrilled :)

I still need to be careful on my nic intake...with snus, vaping, nasal stuff and stonewalls, I even have some Nicotrol gum 4mg.
I like to have several options for different moods, or just to take a break from the same ole same ole.

On a side note, I ordered 40 cans of General Mini Mint and 30 General Wintergreen.
If there is something any of you would like to try, I could send you some samples, I have a can of nearly every kind of snus.

keep snusin

i don't know how you ladies do it !!!

on the way home from Chatanooga Sunday, I picked up a can of Camel Frost I think its called ... Figured, I had seen so much talk about it, might as well try it. HOLY HELL ... The taste was freaking INTENSE! Gums started burning, throat was drying out and tingling, and after 3-4 minutes of hell in my mouth, I tossed it!

The flavor was just tooooooo strong! I kept trying to drink Dr. Pepper hoping it would 1) calm the flavor down 2) fix the scratchy throat i was getting from it ... AND ... it didn't work!

Are there any *Not So Strong* flavors out there ... Didn't even feel a nic hit/buzz/the like ... Just an intense Taste and Numbness

1. Where in your mouth did you place it? It is best placed in the upper lip, preferably towards the front of the mouth, which lessens the level of salivation as compared to in the lower jaw. Lessened salivation means the nicotine and flavorings are relased more slowly.

2. US Camel SNUS is clearly labled 'SNUS', instead of 'snus.' It's not the real thing. Get the Swedish stuff.

To be on the safe side, start with mini white portions. They can be ordered from either buysnus.com or northerner.com. Tre Ankare is pure tobacco flavor and tastes most like a cigarette to me. General white mini-portions aren't too overpowering as to flavor.. You might even like the Mocca Pomegranate as well. Catch Mint Vanila, General Mini Mint and General Mini Peppermint all come in mini white portions and will work if you specifically enjoy mint flavors.

Snus is slow release, which means the nicotine level in the bloodstream gradually rises and gradually declines. Whereas with analogs, the nicotine level is a sharp upward peak or spike in the bloodstream, which leaves as quickly as it comes. So you don't get the same nicotine spike with snus as one might with analogs.

You can just send me the USB fridge that comes with 40 cans of General Mini Mints, hehe. Oh, if you like the General Loose, it's $2 a can right now at getsnus.com ;-)

How do we do it? We pop one in and smile of course! :D I must just like intense flavors...I love the Camel Frost! You definitely wouldn't want to try General Wintergreen then if you thought the Camel was strong...but the General Mini Mints might be just the thing to try. Seems like everyone mentions that particular snus! (pssstttt...it's really really gooooooood) ;)

I ordered them from Northerner. I had enough bonus points to get 10 cans for free....soooo, didn't get the mini fridge.

I can't even fathom not being able to order snus over the internet. I need enough "just in case snus"

It is going to suck iggy. I don't have as impressive of a stash as you do, but I'm slowly working on it while I can! So tonight I put in a small order to getsnus of 5 cans of the General Loose and 2 cans of the Ettan since everyone seems to give that a thumbs up too. Hopefully I'll have enough here between that and the e-cigs so if I have to give them both up, I'll have a little cushion of time to do it in.

2 more hours and will be smoke free for ONE HUNDRED DAYS!

I NEVER thought it was possible. I smoked for 27 years, started at 13.

Reduced harm rocks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

W00t to iggy! :w00t: Was over 30 years for me of smoking and also started at 13. I have my counter on my myspace, but it's not near 100 days...yet ;-)

I went ahead and ordered the free pack from getsnus.com more out of curiosity than anything. I've chewed tobacco (dip and spit) before, and I never got any feel that I was getting nicotine. I just wanted a cigarette that much more--to make up for the lost time while chewing. Actually, I was doing both at the same time now that I think of it.

Lordy ... It brought tears to my eyes it was soooooo strong !!!! 8-o I may have to give it another go one of these days!!!

Cashmere: To my knowledge, there is only only one tasteless snus. Wine & Dine. And it has a kick unlike any other. It's fast and hard, but you taste nothing. Do not be deceived by its "mere" 6mg rating for nicotine. It kicks harder than 16mg, which is more like "time release".

These are dry portions, so I like to dip one in Creme de Cocoa or Kahlua liquor before using it.

Wine & Dine, Gourmet (6mg), swedish snus, tobacco, white mini, portion, nicotine, purified, snus

Awww... That may be just the ticket! Thanks TB!

Exactly. If you keep it for a full 30 minutes in your mouth you will definitely feel it. Since I alternate with it (meaning I probably still have nicotine in my system left from previous vaping) I get a massive kick 8-o I'm still learning how to use it.

I didn't insert it properly once and it was on the side of my mouth and saliva was running through it and dripping to my throat and it killed my throat for a good hour even after i spit it out.

I was at a Fleetwood Mac concert last Thursday and since I didn't vape for a good while I was craving nicotine. Slipped it in and I was totally high off of it (using general mini mints). Even well after I finished with it, I didn't have any urge for nicotine for a good two hours. So one was enough for the whole two and a half hour concert for me. But that's just my body.

I chose the free "General Introductory Sampler Snus" option from getsnus.com so I could try the different varieties before I decided if I wanted to buy any. Vaping is keeping me extremely happy so far, so I'm thinking even if I like the snus it would still just get used in case of nicotine emergency. I am admittedly worried that one day I will drive off without my vaping goodies and not have time to drive back, or the power to my house will go out so I can't use my passthrough *gasp!* and all my batteries will be dead (or something!) and then I'll be left with no easily obtainable substitutes that work besides cigs. Do you know if snus can be left in a car for a decent amount of time without getting nasty, or is it one of those products that requires a cool, dry place?

"Regular" snus needs refrigeration. Whenever you are not using it, keep it cold. Dry snus can be carried in pocket or purse, but I wouldn't leave any snus (or e-liquid) in a hot car.

Hope you find a variety you enjoy. They are my go-to nicotine sources in many public places where I simply don't want the hassle involved with looking like I'm illegally smoking. Much, much easier to pop a snus in place and lean back and enjoy life.

Let the "smoking anywhere" rebels ruin it for us all if they must. Snusers will survive.
