This is pretty much what I see. I think it's a strong possibility that the FDA will deem that e-cigs have to be substantially equivalent to what was on the market in 2007. I also believe that they will deem the BT products like Blu, njoy etc. are substantially equivalent to the 2007 devices. But nothing else will be allowed. That eliminates all other products and bottles of liquid. End result is that BT is the only player and the taxes are back in the government coffers. The only losers are the consumers and the small businesses that drive the rest of the market.
Nothing else will be allowed - does not compute in a world where lawyers, politicians and special interests are allowed.
In a world where a black market does exist, these things will be allowed. Thus, it is not plausible to think all other products will be eliminated.
Consumers willing to operate in a gray market, ought to be able to operate in a black market. Some small businesses will have, I believe, no issues operating in a black market.
The proliferation of eCig devices and material may be going away, but then again, in a world where lawyers, politicians and special interests exist, the setback of production is best viewed as temporary, not permanent.
