yea, the name of this thread is stupid but i thought it would gain a lot of attention for a good cause. lets say tobacco companies do all they can in their power to make ecigs illegal. lets say they are successful and ecigs are illegal tomorrow. Yea, the odds of this happening are very slim, but lets be hypothetical for a second. what would you do? what plan of action would you take? would you stop vaping? or would you choose to live a life outside the law?

Start making extracts and make some friends in Canada to ship in nic lol. I'll be your Pablo esabar of nicotine. I'll be up on Washington by then and no possible way to stock up now so it must be done later. And I figure international shipping on anything else should still be fairly easy to do. .... you can still buy cigarettes and liquor online. And meds

I have enough knowledge to rebuild my coils until the 2nd coming of Jesus (to my Jewish brothers and sisters the 1st coming).

I diy my own juice and if nic base is not being sold anymore I'd soak snus and pipe tobacco in VG and get it that way. Where there is a will there is a way.

When BT and their armies of accountants, actuaries and CEOs decided to get into ecigs, it was pretty much a given that ecigs would not become illegal.

Do you have any idea how much research they had as to how profitable it would be? Surely nobody here actually thinks Big Corporate embarks on things that will lose money. :)

But okay, I"ll play. I don't believe in stockpiling, whether it is food or anything else, as there will always be the day coming where you "run out".

I am a person who prefers to get it over with, rather than a long drawn out period of being in the soup. So if vaping became illegal, I would move on with my life, and it would not include going back to smoking.

Well, I'm moving to Europe for a year (check the flag in the avatar, first one to guess where wins), so I will be fine. If it becomes banned, I can always send back a couple of wine bottles full of juice. Or just quit slowly.

looks like croatia. what do I win?

to no one in particular:

lots of countries are banning nicotine juice. australia and new zealand have, for example.
the government is just denying themselves tax, though, because it's totally legal to import up to 3 months supply for personal use.

and i believe you can extract nicotine at home from tobacco very easily, too, which I'm thinking, without knowing for sure, is more dangerous than using 1% nicotine juice. I doubt the nicotine extract would be 100% nicotine, but I'd imagine it to be high enough to be dangerous if it got on your skin.

Vapers who extract nic from tobacco are doing it for flavoring. Without serious processing, solvents, etc. you obtain very little actual nictoine.
