Those things are just too cool. If James Bond vapes I bet he uses a Vapor Shark.
I placed an order @ 7am on 6/03/2014...still processing and not shipped. Does vaporshark.com usually take this long?
Are you positive it was in stock when you ordered? They are almost always sold out and don't ship for a couple of weeks. I think the current batch ships on the 15th. It's worth the wait though, love mine and I'm dying for an 18650 version.
Has anybody had an issue with a failed button? Mine has been rock solid since I got it in March. Now it there is no travel and the button is VERY easy to actuate. I'm afraid to put it in my pocket.

I ordered later the same day as you did, hopefully I get a shipping notice today.
Well, I phoned them 2 days after ordering and then I emailed them 4 days after asking that if the status doesn't change from processing, please cancel...got a shipping notice that day....fyi. They never stated they were out of stock. Great product on first impression and happy I got one but a bit lacking on the communication side of things but they were nice on the phone. Maybe they are really busy, I don't know because customer service did not say anything to that affect nor did he say it was out of stock or a supply issue. I was not in a hurry, I just wanted to know if it was in stock or not.
About the device: no worries, dude...it comes sealed and you are definitely going to be happy with it.
All in all, ordered @ 7:03am on 6/03 and it arrived on 6/09...that is super fast svc.

I posted a new thread about this earlier but just wanted to drop this here as well. I was looking at vapor shark's fb page and someone asked about when a bigger 18650 version of their dna 30 would be available and vapor shark claimed it will be hitting the market this month. Pretty excited about this if it turns out to be true.
Maybe this is keeping them busy? Well, I'd have a place in my arsenal for one of them babies, too.
Me too! I would buy this immediately. My only complaint with the vapor shark has been the use of the 1200 mah internal lipo battery.
UPDATE: I posted previously about my fire button issue. It still worked but had little to no travel and lost the "clicky". It also stuck in the on position a couple of times. I tried to clear the area between the metal button and the light ring thinking it was jammed. No luck. Contacted VS about it as my warranty expires later this month. After a couple of emails and less than 2 hours later I had a postage-paid shipping label. It's in the mailbox now. I'll post when I hear from them, but so far I've gotten excellent customer service!

Question about the vaporshark, sometimes my ohms reading blinks. Anyone know why and what this means? Thanks.

Why is the Ohm readout flashing?
When the ohms read out flashes, it indicates that the voltage/wattage is set too low for the ohms you are using; this usually happens with sub ohm coils ( < 1.0 ohms ). Simply turn up the voltage/wattage until the blinking stops to find the base voltage/wattage for that sub ohm coil.
but I'm using a 1.3ohm coil @ 11 Watts and it was blinking...went up to 11.5W and it stopped blinking...seems high, eh?

Yes. Unfortunately the DNA does not have a step down so while it's flashing you are vaping on whatever the battery remaining voltage is. I wish it could step down at times.

Anyone wanting to try out the dna30...this little guy is rocking the consistency for me.
I was thinking hard about the Vaporshark DNA 20 a while back. I want to add a some small box mod with pass through to my collection. At first I was not wanting to get a LiPo mod (having to send it back for replacement seems too inconvenient) but now I've come to the realization that to get the size and function I want, the LiPo will be a necessary evil. I Tried a hana pack (clone) just to see the form factor. Liked its size but the cloned chipset was not performing near as well as a real DNA. Returned it. Decided to order a real boxy, and settled on the VS DNA 30. Seems they have solved about every issue I anticipated when I looked at the DNA 20 (I.e. Better Paint, floating good 510 connection, more stable USB). Price, availability, and size of the VS are all better when compared to the Hana Pack. I went for the gun metal finish, black shark skin.

I'm loving mine, best purchase I've made in awhile....look forward to your impressions and by the way, I got the gunmetal also but the sharkskin(black) went right on before I could mark up the fire button or get any gunk on it.
