Went in for the Vaporshark...picked up the gunmetal dna30...then I got the black shark skin. Looking forward and thanks for the info guys....this should last me for years to come, pocketable, programmable, flexible and it's an evolv...still loving my darwin but wanted the box form cause...well...the darwin doesn't like the heavy kayfun and loving Vary Wattage!...Ready Ready Ready to Vape on this!

Vapor Shark black with black sharkskin ordered.

Vapor Shark can thank the ssvapes preorder cluster****, the Hana Modz vs. Illvapes lawsuit, and the reviews from Big Tom and A Bloody Good Vaping for my order.

It's going to look great with a spheroid on top!

We'll both be rockin' the DNA30 and vapin' with the Sharks!

I was a bit annoyed you didn't bother to look through the tread too, DUDE!

Actually, I did a search through the thread with the word shark skin/sharkskin, etc...even after scrolling through post by post for a bit but wasn't all that much to write home about and this was after a thorough google and youtube search...not a heck of a lot of pics, WITH THE SHARKSKIN, that is...and of course, the first pic I got was the website(the linky-doo you were so kind to provide).

Guess I'm spoiled by the REO threads and Provari threads with all the pics, not to mention all the various mechanical pic threads.

Sorry for annoying you but you should have just moved along...didn't mean to bother you there.

Peace and Vape on, dude.

Guess I misunderstood the question. It wasn't apparent you'd put forth any effort at all since there were pictures on the two pages previous to your post. If the link wasn't helpful you should have just moved along.

I'm sure people here are tired of this already so PM if you feel the need to continue this conversation, dude.

Ever since I first heard of the vaporshark I knew I want one. It looks really nice. It's just the features of not being able to change the battery that's a deal breaker for me. I'll probably end up getting one as a backup to whatever one I do decide to buy though.

Did they say or is there a reason why they designed it like this?

I don't know if they ever said anything however, doing a LIPO battery is the only way to make such a small form factor and still provide the power needed for DNA30 chip. However you might be in luck if you can wait becuase they have a 18650 version in the works. My local B&M had a picture of the new vaporshark that takes an 18650 battery next to the vaporshark and it wasn't a much bigger form factor than the current vaporshark just a little wider. I will definitly be getting one. However, if you decide to pull the trigger on the current version I can say that it doesn't dissapoint. Battery life is a concern, however an atomic rda at a 0.9 ohm to 1.5 ohm anywhere between 20-30 watts gives great flavor and varying degrees of battery longevity. People have reported getting through a work day with kafuns below 15w. The form factor is awesome fits in your pocket like nothing else.

I really wanted to hold out for the 18650 user replaceable version but I kind of compare this to my darwin....it was the same setup and it really lasted a long time(for me). I figured that I don't vape low ohms so the battery life should be fine. I ordered on 6/3 @ 7am and I still have not received shipping notice, called them and they say they are in stock and will ship soon...hmm. Not as fast as I would have thought.

Product liability most likely.
'user replaceable' carries the risk of user mistake, possibly resulting in a battery blowing up & causing injury & subsequent lawsuit.
